I’m an illegitimate child. It has bothered me my whole life. I feel we suffer so much when our parents aren’t responsible and put this negative connotation above our heads even before we are born. This makes it feel like it’s our fault even though we had no part in it.

As a woman I would never put that burden on my child, I blame the women who knowingly get pregnant with married men …… you place this lifelong burden on the child one which no matter what will always be on their head. I’m sorry you have that on your head …. The best you can do is break the cycle with your own children and live an exemplary life one that shows despite your start you’ve thrived

I was a agnostic/atheist but after having her and holding her in my arms my entire perspective changed and became of her I am on a journey to find god, I have done everything I can think of to make it right but I still feel bad.

I believe that Allah the most merciful forgives all sin no matter how big or small, so I don’t believe people should worry about what some self righteous people say condemning other people as though their destiny and Jenna is guaranteed for them. The main thing is to learn from your mistake and let that lesson draw you closer to your creator.

If the biological father is not technically considered a "father", then what about the biological mother? It takes two to tango. A child is created by both man and woman. So why is the burden put on the woman and the child, and the man gets off scot free? The way to discourage such illegitimate acts is to make people responsible for their actions.
