What do you think of the DBS Superleggera? Great fun to pedal, gorgeous to look at, lovely rumble at low speeds, but how about that full throttle sound?
Beautiful car. Great driving. Perfect colors. May not be the fastest or fast compared to mid engine cars, but to me this form factor front engine rear wheel drive still makes for best looking cars and better Grand Tourers. Fitting chariot for James Bond.
This thing is breathtakingly quick! Looks great, doesn’t it? I think Bond is in a mid engine Aston in the next five (which should have been released by now!!!).
Ohhh yes! Looks amazing. You seem to enjoy driving it. The sounds does not come out super...I would off think that sweat V12 would howl a bit more, no? What is the rpm redline? Great video. Well done Brian.
Yeah, Mike, I loved driving it for sure. Glad you enjoyed. I think that whistle has to do with the V12 getting dialed up on boost and not resolving the exhaust. I can’t recall redline, 7000 give or take? Didn’t really matter because with the massive power and torque, you never have to run it to redline.
At low rpm it sounds great, but when you get on it, it’s not that pleasant, as a captured it. Definitely could have been done better. Minor shortcoming for a brill GT.
It think it sounds a riot at the low-mids, almost NA. I do like to turbo whistle at the top end but I wish it maintained howl and roar that the NA had, now it just sounds like a down piped I6 whine at the top end. I don't much like the sound through the speakers but given all the sound deadening, I guess it's a must. 6.89/10
Brilliant car and review. To me its better than an 812 SF, the 812 simply isn't a GT its too wild. I've heard the DBS is faster on the road aswell. It even sounds better than the 812, I prefer a growl over a scream

You can also engage "drive" mode by pullimg the right shift paddlw for about 2 seconds. Great review and lovely drive.
Glad you enjoyed. I like that you can get neutral by pulling both paddles.

@@BrianMakse right! Boost...it that a shame to boost a V12? Is it needed?
Yeah, for a small manufacturer to get to over 700hp and meet international emission regs, they have to do it. Turbo all the things!
Great review, great video, great car! Absolute Aston
Glad you enjoyed, stick around.
Vanquish is indeed a great car name!
Totally suited that car. Hope the name returns.
This car is beautiful but the one problem I have with it is that it sounds weak. It doesn't sound like a flagship v12 Aston Martin.

Aston is my #1 dream car, although I will never own one.
I just wish I there were more around Toronto, I've only ever seen one on the road.
Shame, I was driving one in Toronto a couple of weeks ago. There are plenty around.
A beautiful car. I would be curious how this compares to a 812 SF on the road
I'm curious, as well.
Thank you
Glad you liked it.

At low speed, it's got a growl. Did you catch the WOT in this episode?
Aston super or a porsche 911 gts or turbo s??
Interesting. We have 'this or that' conversations over in the member's section.
@@BrianMakse and what's your take?? And where is the members section
What is that color?
I don’t remember the name, but I’m pretty sure I mentioned it in the episode.
