What a beautiful car, great review as always! I need to take my TVR Tuscan through the Hindhead Tunnel, can’t believe I haven’t done it yet living so close, you have spurred me on!
Great Video Pete. The last time I saw you smile like that was when you drove the Vanquish S through the same tunnel. I drove the Coupe last summer and it was amazing.
Dude! You must pinch yourself every day? The cars you have access to are awesome! And what more awesome is the way you present these videos! Top class as always 🤘🏻
One thing I have always wondered is where do you get the facts from ? Cause they just roll off your tongue and you seem to know the differences between previous models. Do you spend hours googling haha ?
Thanks for the great video Pete. Like you, I've always been a huge fan of Aston Martin. I think without doubt, they are the coolest marque. I've seen the coupe version in the metal in the most gorgeous rich metallic burgundy red and wow!!! What a stunner. If I won the lottery, I'd try one of these and a 812 Superfast. I'd probably end up buying both!! :)
I love the way the car looks. The only issue I have with cars with such powerful engines is how little of the potential you can actually achieve (especially in the uk). Another great video 👍🏻👍🏻
I think that the colour of this DBS really makes this a stunningly, gorgeous looking car. Do you know what it's called? Sounds incredible too. A bit like rolling thunder. With regards to luggage space, surely Aston make lockable luggage that fits onto the back seats that can't be removed by someone just walking past? If the car's stopped at lights, for instance. I'd assume that taking the DBS back to Harwoods upside down on a trailer, wouldn't impress them that much? :-))... Great video though. And what a stunning car too.
I love the "gargle" you get on the overrun when blip ping the throttle in neutral - sounds like a Norse god clearing his throat in preparation for battle (7 mins)!!!
I test drove the coupe the other day, I did find the roar from the tyres to be a bit much for my needs and for a GT car, but as a car to have some fun in, the volante certainly seems to be the one to pick.
Alright Pete, WOW what a stunning car, the body lines and vents look amazing, and I'm glad I don't play golf so no need to worry about the boot size when I order mine, 😴 oh I just woke up, not sure my savings would stretch that far, maybe 1 wheel is in my budget 🤣. That engine is like an angel singing, epic. The interior is amazing in the two tone as well. God damn why didn't I try harder at school lol. Take care mate. Ralph
Wow what a bizarre day yesterday I had one of these following me. Being driven by the chap who owns Amari super cars in Preston Very nice set of wheels 👍🧽🏁⛽️🚴♂️
Hi Peter, another great video thanks👍. Regarding boot space. They would be better doing away with those pretend rear seats and giving over more space to the boot. My Mercedes SLK has more room in the boot. Enough for a week long trip to Cornwall and we brought home a box of frozen Pasties!
If I had the money I'd really struggle to choose between the DBS and the 812 but I think in the end I'd sway towards the Ferrari. Great video Peter! :)
I have only been a passenger in the 812 and it was very special. I think it requires even more respect unless you want to go straight the the scene of the accident 😂
I think you liked that one Peter...time to start saving up then!! It didn’t seem to have “sound enhancement” which s a good thing...that idea never works well as far as I have found. It is a nice looking car and reminds me to drive the SL with the roof open hopefully tomorrow!! Drive safely...buy more Persil.🤞🏻😧😯🤗🤗
Incredible car better as a hard top me thinks, love convertibles ,but the four seater ones like this don't work for me, a droptop should be 2 seaters....IMO, great video as usual mate, thanks
So awesome Pete , Which is best though and which one do you love the most, >>> The Aston or the Mclaren GT ? I know they are possibly 2 very different cars but would you say the Aston offers the same in Driver appeal and could it make a good GT car ?
Hi Ped What a beauty👍👍, and the sound magnificent. Not the most practical soft top but who cares! If you can afford one of these, you can afford to have a “Frock” van following with Mrs Ped’s wardrobe if you are going away for a posh weekend.
Great video and what a fantastic car. Looks beautiful. Definitely one for my garage. (In my head) not sure I would want to drive the car being £250k and tail happy. I’m terrible with my Mk3 RS, I plant the foot anywhere and it’s mist grips. I think I would end up on a hedge. 😂
I give up with supercars of london you tube channel. Petrol ped channel is better. It's all about the cars. I think super cars of london goes off the topic of cars. Great video PED
@@PetrolPed your video's ped is good. I was looking at a fiesta St I was not sure about it and I watched your video on it and I am in the process of buying one as you gave me a good review about the car.
As it is very unlikely that the 2+2 seats in the back will be ever used to carry humans, dogs allowed, you have quite a handy space to carry extra luggage, especially the gear you might need to hand on a long journey.
@@PetrolPed OK. Not as bad as I thought. No worse than my old Jaguar XJS I owned back in 1985 and the Aston is probably heavier and has twice the HP... The Aston is a beautiful looking car and when I come to part with my SL, it will certainly be on the shortlist.
Please stop smiling Pete !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please do not give the game away !!!!!!!! Anyone would think you enjoyed that driving experience, but personally, I know you hated every second of it 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜
On a run, you'd be surprised. Around 27mpg if driven sensibly. If not so sensible... Sub 20. It's not bad for a near 2 tonne, 700 plus horsepower car though.
the back seats are a joke so why didnt they push the roof mech forwards to give a decent boot for those of us who want to actually go somewhere in it......
Front view of that car.... nothing else on the market is anywhere as pretty and sophisticated whilst being so angry and aggressive See these nearly every day driving past a dealership. I just look at them with my mouth open
Oh God PP - please no more of these repulsive and obsolete chest wig chariots! So you have to drive your big car into a tunnel to get your thrills - what would Freud make of that?

AM really are on the money with their designs these days.
And that engine sounds utterly sublime!
They sure are 👏
As soon as I saw the title of this video I knew you were heading to the Hindhead tunnel!! What an car, what an engine, and what an amazing noise 👍🏻
Couldn't help myself 😂
Drop dead gorgeous. Those wheels look massive. Nice one Pete.
They are 😂
Aston Martin is at the forefront of vehicle art...well done Pete..
Indeed...they sure do make beautiful cars 👌
Wow, what an insanely beautiful car 😍😍😍
Yep, a piece of art on wheels 👌
Absolutely stunning car. Sound, looks and colour. Top vid Pete.
It sure was beautiful 👌
What a beautiful car, great review as always! I need to take my TVR Tuscan through the Hindhead Tunnel, can’t believe I haven’t done it yet living so close, you have spurred me on!
You really must. A Tuscan will sound epic through there 👍
What a beautiful car! It sounds awesome!!! The tunnel thing I do with my Dodge Ram pickup with a 5.7L hemi. My kids love it!
I bet that sounds mega 👍
Good morning pal. This is a stunning car. The whole thing. Handful indeed. The wheels are on another level.
Mega handful, as witnessed in the first 30 seconds of the video 😂
Petrol Ped , it was great to watch you holding on.
Great Video Pete. The last time I saw you smile like that was when you drove the Vanquish S through the same tunnel. I drove the Coupe last summer and it was amazing.
Oh yes, that was another tough one to make 😂
your videos are always such a great mix of engineering and emotion...perfectly done!
Thanks Rick 👍
Another stunning looking car. The looked suspiciously like the Hindhead Tunnel. Loved going through there in my F-Type.
It was indeed 👍
Another great videos Pete..keep it up. Peter
Thanks Peter, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Fabulous video. Need to go out and buy a lottery ticket. What a sound track!
There will be a spike in lottery ticket sales tonight 😂
Sheer pleasure, thankyou really enjoyed the whole video.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Peter,
Cracking car and cracking video as usual.
Thanks Keith, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Great video Pete. Just two of you on a trip, all the back seat area is free for luggage.
Yep, they certainly aren't any good for passengers 😜
Awesome video! Petrol Ped at his best - Brilliant camera positions!
Thank you 🙏
Stunning car. Nothing else to add
Thanks Dan...yep stunning 👌
I need to find my spare change and get one!... just one problem my spare doesnt go that far.... fantastic video, thanks for sharing PP!
We could all chip in and buy one for the channel 😂
Petrol Ped what do you recon a fiver each from all of your subscribers would be about right? 👍
Love the new intro!
Dude! You must pinch yourself every day? The cars you have access to are awesome! And what more awesome is the way you present these videos! Top class as always 🤘🏻
Thank you. Lot's of pinching done. I couldn't make these videos without the amazing people that give me access to the cars 🙏
Petrol Ped very true dude! But there is a reason these people give you these cars and it’s because your good at what you do 🤘🏻
Total Car Reviews Thank you 🙏

Huge Aston fan also this looks incredible but in that colour ( gunmetal grey?) It really stands out and shows off the curves. Great review 👍
Thanks Stevie 👍

Quite possibly the best looking car available today! Also one of the best sounding :)
I agree 👍
Aston have always made beautiful cars and this is more of that. Stunning colour 👍
Mega spec 👌
I love the way the car looks. The only issue I have with cars with such powerful engines is how little of the potential you can actually achieve (especially in the uk). Another great video 👍🏻👍🏻
Yep, you need to be on a track or an airfield 👍
Excellent stuff Pete! 👍🏻
Cheers Mark 👍
Spectacular and beautiful machine! Great video - always good to see you enjoying yourself: shows what proper cars can do for you.
They lift your soul and make you feel alive 👌
Favorite car right now.
I love this car too 😍
Stunning Car Pete 👍🏻

Beautiful car. Beautiful colour.
Yep 👍
Hello Pete, Another week on the road done, travaling the length and breadth of the country.
Me too 👍
Very nice indeed and great video :-)
Cheers Matt 👍
A good quality vid with a awesome quality car. (Bit of a grumpy looking petrol ped on the thumbnail though) 😄
I was going for moody 😜😂
Great video, great car. All the DBS needs is Ruby’s vast boot 👍
Indeed, that would be brilliant 👌
Thumbs up before I’ve watched the video 👍
Cheers Jonathan 👍
What a machine fella 👍 great vid as always bud
It was epic that's for sure 👏
BRILLIANT!! What an awesome car....blimey though. A quarter of a million!! Let's hope my lottery numbers come up !!

I totally agree. Love your description 👏
Wow! First thing I thought when I saw the car. It looks exactly like a Shark. A Smooth, Elagant, Powerful Gray Shark.
I wouldn't have been surprised if you drove back and forth through that tunnel a few times ... ;)
A very elegant yet engaging ride.
I did. Went through it a few times off camera 😂
@@PetrolPed :D :D :D

The Haslemere tunnel? , Yes experienced that myself with an M850i !! so cool
Awesome 👍
Add it to the list Pete 😁👍
I will but the funding will be a problem 😂

Perfect spec 👏
What tyres were fitted? Pzero? I can't get any power down with my trofeos at the moment. Not a massive AM fan but great review. Cheers
Yes, P Zeros. Possibly would have been better on winters. Getting the power down was tricky 😂
Beautiful car.
Indeed 👌
Hi PP, very nice video
Cheers Jaco 👍
Those wheels are stunning
They were...very kerb-able though 😬
Brilliant, big kid, just like we would all be given the chance😂👍

A posh version of Ruby 😂
I could have 15 Rubys and change 😂
But in all honesty, the car has to be put through its paces yo find out if it really is as good as the tin top version.
