I have Ibiza 1.6 2016 my screen is not working anymore, planing to change it, is this model suitable? My screen is little big and I also have rear camera, will Car system be connected to the tablet like showing car information and stat ?!
Thanks, it helped so much. I still have issues with steering wheel buttons. I saw the can bus has to be configured in Factory settings, but I have not found seat inside. So I still have to investigate about how to solve this.

I just did this install on my 2013 Ibiza FR last week, same unit. Unfortunately the steering wheel buttons don't work anymore and with the rear camera, it only works with the engine not running, because as soon as the engine runs, the video signal is lost. I'm in contact with the vendor in China but not getting much help due to his broken English probably translated with Deepl. Also this radio is very slow until on line after starting the car. Will probably return it.
After installing the head unit the MIL light (check engine) is continuously on. When I try to read the codes with VCDS I don‘t have any failure codes that should result in a MIL lamp. CAN box is conntected (also the yellow-brown little connector between CAN box and Radio), plus the red-orange cable is disconnected like you showed at 09:54. Did you have any similar problems? 🤷 I like your video, thanks for the tutorial! 👍
It worked! It took a while to eradicate the failure code from the car, then I simply disconnected the battery and tried to conncect the head unit again. Now, after plenty of ignition cycles and a couple of test-km I don’t have any “engine errors” on the dashboard. Let’s pray it stays this way… 🙏🏻😁
Find positive wire from reverse lights, this puls goes to the multimedia or camera, some multimedia doesnt need this trigger wire. Connect as i did in the video and it will work

Hello, I have the same radio as you, but a more complete model, with more functions, such as 360° cameras. The problem I have is that the steering wheel control doesn't work for me, do you? The touch buttons on the screen frame do not work for me either and it never turns off either, I have to disconnect the fuse that powers the radio. you can help? Thanks a lot.

For camera you should install the camera cable from multimedia up to the camera. This is most complicated part. From the headlights you should find + terminal from reverse. That’s it.

For picture you need video cable.. and red wire for sign, but only if your car doesn't have CANBus! If you have it, multimedia will be switching to the camera automaticly by changing in to reverse gear.
hi. On the camera wires I connected the red one to the reverse gear wire and the black one to the minimum ground wire and on the radio I only connected the yellow connector. It doesn't work, the image appears with interference and nothing is seen. Any tips?. And great video
For some models you should connect on multimedia extra red wire, for this model, you should connect only 12V from Reverse light, the camera starts working and send the singal to the miltimedia, if it doesnt work, try to connect the camera with 12v battery

You should turn in reverse and measure with voltmeter.. second option is, you can remove the tail light, and check the conncetion from bulb to the connector

u need to find the switch of an older model where the hazard light assembly is near the gear stick and then get a relocation harness to set the wires up.

It should go on facelift also, you have more connectors its should work on each..

You have setting and you can set what the keys needs to do if pressed... for usb you have port for 2 usbs in the radio..

Try to remove clips.. because this can damage your battery.. it will always working..

If you need gps, wifi and more, than use expencive on.. all works great and you pay more only for extra functions. (Camera, gps, wifi, GB memory)

I forgot to take a video about wires.. check with multimeter.. one is ground(COM) , and other are positive for each lamp=1 contacts.

This multimedia is android.. you can connect it throug cable or bluetooth..

I don't have this buttons, but you have in engeenering mode settings, and you can set each button what means
So lads. Looking at the responses below it seems that you should avoid doing this unless you want persistent issues lmao.

It works all and after 2 years..i don't have steeringcontrols. But as in video shows, you can program it very easy.

does the stereo take power when the ignition is switched off/does it drain the battery when not in use?
You have connector witch needs to be disconnected ( check on the video) and than works only when ignition is switched on

Did your volume buttons under steering wheels have any issues after instaling this?
You have hidden Menu in multimedia, you should all buttons programming for what they are, check in the video..

Hm, for steering wheel check in manualls for passwort, i showed in video one of 2 passwords.. chekc in camera options if you can turn it on and off

Check on the video.. you should disconnect one connector and than will be working only if you plug the key.

Dieses Auto besitzt leider keine Tasten am Lenkrad, du muss in Menü finden, und taste programmieren
Moin, die Software da drauf und mit dem CAN BUS Adapter kannst du die Lenkradsteuerung nutzen sowie auch die Tasten umlegen
