    Finally, a useful explanation of Pi. How is anybody mixing live bass/drums without it?!

    I've noticed PI is on sale right now but also I've read people having negative experiences with PI making strange sounds on basses and synths. I'm tempted to buy it, but it's a lot of money for a plugin that could do more damage than good. I'm looking for opinions.

    @NextLevelSound, in the situation where there is a sidechain between kick and bass, how do you proceed with PI? And in the sidechain problem in general versus PI?

    Have used Pi in a few mixes over the past few years. Found that it can cause pitch changes in sustained instruments. Particularly annoying when it causes the pitch of the snare to wobble. It’s definitely not the all-round solution as portrayed in this series.

      Which DAW are you using? Are youi in LF or fullrange mode?

      Yeah - same here. Bass warbles...
