Hey Mendel, my Audio interface is a presonus studio 1824c. I bought the outboard SSL Buss+, how do you route your cables to out board gear? Line out into the XLR inputs, then back out with XLR's into non used input channel's on the 1824c? Thanks in advance. I hope can you answer this since I want to make sure I'm routing correctly, Thank you!!
I did! You can make groups for oversight but I just put it on the individual channels and it solved everything. Programmed drums had alignment on the snare and OH.
Hey Mendel, great content as usual! I recently noticed that I have a face issue which apparently leads to ugliness, is there any tutorials or tips that you might have for me dude? Cheers! 🍻
Hey this looks like something i need in my life. In a band with 2 guitar players which play the same thing for much of their songs but each player has a different guitar, amp, cab... a different sound basically. Should you double track each player so you end up with 4 tracks, 2 per side, that being 1 track from player 1 and another track from player 2 blended and panned? I find with this the guitar starts to lack definition overall. To fix that is it editing or would these plugins help with that. I feel doing 1 track per player and panning these gives tighter sound but we have a different sound per side? But i guess with 2 different players on a stage this might be the goal? 1 player L and the other R? I guess these plugins help in all cases. Thanks
I am baffled that this channel isnt more popular.
mine gives sync errors for some reason :( i really liked that pi vst, but sounds like i cant use it
Try to use It in channels with no sidechain activated, It fixed the problem for me
Yea AAlign helps allot and yours video explanations helps. Big up man.✌🤘💪
Great video, is pi even recommended for vocals with the mix?
hi mendel, your mixes are really great. When can I buy a template from you or a mixing course from start to finish? best regards, Flo
Mixing courses + Superior Presets are in the making

Jup! That’s correct.
@@Mendelian Thank you!!
do I need auto-align when I'm using programmed drum vst
Yes and No: Most programmed drums are aligned, but for an example on Metal Machinery SDX the snare isn't in phase with the OH.
With auto align isn’t it designed to have overheads as your send out?
Problem is if you align everything to the overheads your close mics will be behind the grid.
Hi, so you just opend PI on every track without tweeking? Or different groups for guitar , bass and so on,? Did the drums got both PI and Time A?

@@Mendelian cool, yes downloaded now and did a test, was amazing. Thanks a lot for this vid, and keep em coming 👍
