The Original "Bass Thumping Master ' Mr Larry Graham ❤ Bless You !!!!! Thank You for the Beautiful Music !!!
You are absolutely right.
One of my favorite songs is Feel the need all their albums were awesome funk Larry's a GOD send he was made for this .. and a very rich voice the father of slap Stanley Clarke was slapping it right after I heard Larry ...the feel so many great songs two gifted musicians songwriters and performers him and Sly ...the gift that keeps on giving👍👍👍👍👍👍♥️💯💯💯💯🇺🇲
Graham is one of those musical innovators who helped take the bass from being a background instrument to one which can lead the band!!
You can thank all the talent he has to his God, Jehovah. Without Jehovah it would have never been possible!!
No words could describe how great this is!!
Still….and forever will be a legend!
Brother Larry Graham and his Graham Central Station are pure funkadelic group and their classic including Feel the Need in Me forty seven years ago pure funk classic.
Love this man I'm 61years
Old and still play this da damn music what the best to my heart.I play bass guitar too and you talk me a lot with the notes you play thank you Larry Graham and Sly Stone and little sister and show happines from Washington DC fixed capital spending at Landover Maryland thank you sir hope to meet you someday so I paid enough to go to your concert and I love each and every one of them.I'm a truck driver.over the road youStanley Clarke music will never die
What u doing? I can't forget Marcus Miller and Jaco pastor Verdine white from Earth Wind and Fire.you are out Bob Marley the American by ending at least say thank you for letting me be myself
Julius Loftin , ,, I’m 62 years young like u too,, and bk in the 70’s we would go to Greensboro NC,, AND THIS GUY gave us a SHOW,, BK THEN I WAS UP FRONT just jamming til my feet hurt,,, and I think “ THE JAM” might have been one of my favs, if not, I would say “HAIR”,, but it was at a time when everyone came to have fun,, security was not needed,, I think it cost $35, no fights,,, I still have pictures from bk then,, EWF, OHIO PLAYERS,, ,, ETC,,,,
Same here.
again....
.
Hmm. .......
Larry was an inspiration in the 70's. Forty years later he's still a ball of energy and producing the goods with a great band.
Love it, nothing foul just pure music 🎶. Love the talent, thank you Larry.
I saw Larry open for Prince in New York many years ago and he had me rocking off my seat , the best opening act I've ever seen
i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account??
I stupidly lost the login password. I love any help you can give me.
@Rogelio Anakin instablaster :)
This IS funk in all its glory. No bad vibes here. Thanks for sharing.
He"s a BAAADD MAN the best ever I always thought he was the funk he helped spread the funk ....loved him with Sly but ....the machine GCS came along .....WOW ...owned all albums ....wore them out thank GOD for giving us Larry the gift that keeps on giving
I have a new found love for Mr. Larry Graham. Love the sound and the energy.
Awesome!! Love the funk
j'y étais! un des meilleur concert de ma vie
I have known Larry for 10+ years; however never heard much of his music! Just great!
"Funk So Deep" I'm happily floating. Way to go Larry Graham and GCS!
It hurts so bad to me that this video has this few amount of views, everybody should enjoy this.
share it your freinds on social media! what happened to the rest of this concert?
It hurts me worst how music has changed in the last 40 years to mostly sampling something because of the lack of musical skills,,,that’s why most end up as One Hit Wonders,,,,,
I will share this with THE WORLD!! These kind of groups are my drug of choice!!
Larry is the best guitar player I've ever seen. He still got it after all these years.
Teddy Bear!!! You are💯💯💯💯
Teddy Bear/ AKA Master E. ,, Graham used to have that sub bottom bass b4 we had it at the hse,,,,,,,
Bassguitar player
Larry Grahama is one of the BEST BASS players!
I wanna know we're Larry graham at now. Went to all there shows in the 70 s. Love them. Bad ass show. G.C.S.
One if my favorite I saw them back in the 80ths, man what a show, can't beat old school, Larry's a bad man on that bass,I love them ♥️👑🦋
This is just legendary, love it
Hearing and seeing their show brings some positiviness into one's life 😇
Patrick Van de Velde ,, we had so much fun at his shows,, glad folk still appreciate his stuff,,,
Love seeing him in concert
As long as 30 or 35 years ago Larry Ghram, at one time called the Captail Center ooh my he blew our minds showing up Sly who never show up he gad some bad ass concerts every time never disappointed
True master, makes it look effortless 👍😎
Sounds GREAT and HE IS STILL FLY...💋💋💋💙💙💙💯💯💯🦋
Incredible bass player, saw him with Prince in Belgium ... great shit 😆
Keep taking us higher man all the way!
He's the best😉
My Funk MAster.. I graduated from the school of Larry Graham and Louis Johnson..
I saw him when he came to rams head here in md one of the nicest bands you ever want to meet my sister kissed him on the cheek we brought her tickets for her birthday she still talks about how nice they were hope they make it back this way again he’s still doing his thing in his 70s the baddest bass player in the land..
Gotta love this, pure class!
One of the best. Great dresser, too. Need more of this in today's music. Mix in some metal and it'd be perfect. 🤘
One of the best.
...and most of all...hes a wonderful, kind , humble person......
The man that put the FUNK in the Stones and changed the world.
I didn't realize how much I needed this to lift my spirits today. Thankyou!
So...a friend of mine and I were talking about funk music the other day....I mentioned how much I loved Graham Central Station....she's like "you mean Grand Central Station".... No....I like them but I love Larry Graham....bass player...etc.....GRAHAM Central Station....she had no idea. WTH?
Mollie Nieves ,, folk pay a lot money to hear computer musicians these days,, we paid about $35 to hear 4 bands most times bk then but at least they were true to the game,,,and folk had a instrument to play,,, not just a mouth that I can’t understand what u saying,,,,,,and then they don’t have the skills to create new stuff, just a bunch of sampling suckers,,,,, so glad I came thru the times when I did,,,,,,,,stay safe,, and jam the vintage stuff,,
The pioneer of slap bass and funk
🧡
this performance just makes me so happy

JUDA KNOWS THAT HE KNOWS ! ROCK ON JUDA !
This is awesome :)
Just once in my life I hope to have an occasion that necessitates the wearing of a panama hat with a giant red feather and what is essentially a Colonial-era nightshirt reimagined by a time-traveler from the future.
So Damn Funky! 1love
I like that mic!
Funk the band.so good
This ain't nuthin' but a Warner bros. party! 😊
Baddest bass player ever!
why is youtube playing ads during larry grahams basslines

БАЛДЕЮ ТОКОЙ ДЖЯС РОК !!!
the God father of thump
What happened to Chocolate and Hershil?
Great question, and don’t forget Butch on that Hammond B4,, that was a a great team musically speaking,, my feet used to hurt after that concert, and I was 17 maybe,, , good hurt though,,,
This what we need now brothers and sisters and white folk and black folk getting together for some funk! Preferably in front of a police station!
He hasn't aged a day lol
What this songs?
For You Babe
Can, you get like I can get it?
I KNOW HE KNOCKED THE SOCKS OFF THE CROWD.
Who knew this was Drake's uncle? With a dad that's a jazz musician as well, it kinda reminds me of Nas and Kelis' connection
and LMFAO "singers" are related to Motown Rec founder. Sometimes the next gen is just shit. I would be ashamed to be Drake's uncle
Larry Graham is Drake’s Uncle?!
More like Drake is Larry's nephew.
He should get a head set mic
omg he's wet in funkyness
🤑🤑🤭🤭❤❤❤🤑🤑
Larry was jw エホバの証人の信者だね
がーさす。
This is drakes uncle
If started up on guitar you would have been better than Jimmy Hendricks.
I might brake the Record for more than two standing ovations
Though I get why the idea of his mic be placed within the body of his guitar came about, it's still silly in the application and most likely a sound man's nightmare to deal with.
Silly? You're entitled to that. However I disagree vehemently. I thought the mic mounted on the bass was a genius idea and if the soundman had any problems it definitely isnt evident here! 🎸🎶🎸
@@vernonbrooks6890 ... any real sound issues besides some loud feedback caught in the audio of the clip is usually not obvious. As someone who has worked with live event sound engineers closely for over 30 years, I can attest to the fact that when someone on stage decides to get all artsy and outside the box beyond standard mic'ing techniques ... its usually a nightmare for said audio person.
@@avolite719 seen Larry quite a few times... NEVER a mic problem has been realized. Wireless set up, just like performers that wear wireless mics with no issues...
@@vernonbrooks6890 you are correct....nothing to see here..
Drake's uncle, in case y'all were wondering.
Too much funk here.............only thing missing is Sly Stone
