I have been a " Parliment/Funckadelic" Fuckateer since I joined The United States Air Force in July of 1971! While enlisted I have lived as a Funckateer. The Music & Album Covers were like my Bible. I was blown away & became one of the most intelligent & controversal African American the Air Force have encountered. Now, they are trying to pay me up, or off. I dont care about the money because I am a Funckateer. And this is me! Thank you. George & Sisters & Brothers of the Planet Groove!rs! I am a Roman Catholic now & I still Funk with the Funk of Funkadelic!
PS,...,,....I attended your Concert in Lawrence Kansanat the University of Kansas. Rudy Ray Moore stoled the Show until I all of you in the Glory of Funk !

I had the opportunity to see him back in the day with my boyfriend, at the time, when Bootsy was still with Parliament/Funkadelic when he branched off into "Bootsy's Rubber Band." It was an amazing show! I always had a crush on him. LOL! 😂 I had never seen a bass player play the bass as if he was the lead guitarist and the lead singer. That was straight up "genius" on his part! Those were the good old days. Peace and much love. 😘 And, best wishes for a Happy New Year. 🎉

The songs are always great; the live music is always extra tight, and his willingness to go out into the crowd and bond with his loyal fans only let's the world know that "Funk not only moves...it can REmove, Dig?" Long live Funk and long live the legendary Bootsy Collins. RIP Eddie "Maggot Brain" Hazel, Bernie Worrell and Catfish Collins.

Simply takes my breath away. Pure live funk at it's best. Everything was so tight. If young cats want to know about why we were so crazy about funk back in 70s listen to this. Still extraordinary 40 years later. Some of the musicians who create this music have since passed on, but the music will live on.

The FREEDOM of expression (both individually and collectively) these musicians on stage have is the most amazing thing I have ever seem, musically. This is insane. For a second,you cant believe this is all played live. Each and every instrumentalist is given a chance to do their thing,and still play with the band. I actually deployed a tear(out of emotion) while watching this. I would like to attend P-Funk concert. RIP Bernie Worrell.

Great Concert. Bootsy Collins the one and only. Brother Bootsy is a great musician and great human being. Love that Brother. The Band was off the chain. This performance was almost a decade ago. Time go's very fast.

I think Bootsy didn't do as many drugs as we think he did because he looks MARVELOUS!! He looks like he stopped early with the drug/alcohol use. He took GREAT care of himself😉😉😉

The Funkiest Show in the land I use to be their Homeboy when I lived in Cincinnati I met The King of Funk at 5th Floor recording Studio I moved to Hamilton Ohio and open up J Mack’s Urban Apparel Oowee Bootsy son we became good friends he had his own group they would shop with me when they needed some gear they got a gig in Japan and that’s the last time I saw OoWee until tonight I’m in Jacksonville now if they come this way I will be there can’t believe they played for 1:27 that’s how you put on a concert 🤩🤟🏽🤩💫🌟⚡️⭐️

The drummer is Frankie he's one of The Originals that been with booty before he was even booty when they were known as the house guests and that was after they left James Brown that was even before they met George Clinton in the house guests also featured Felipe Williams from The Spinners he was in that group originally before the Spinners

I saw Bootsy's Rubber band when he went solo 1978 cowpalace San Francisco June, been to long to know exact date. Omy Bootsy turned it out, Radio opened up for him. Hollywood squares and Bootszilla was 1 then. If you know what I'm talking about , you know you were a funketeer , look here was nothing out there performing like PARLIMENT FUNKADELIC AND BOOTSY'S RUNBER BAND. TO THIS DAY , NOBODY HAS EVER PUT ON A SHOW JAW DROPPING ACT LIKE THE FUNK MOB.

Hi Sandy. Just never understood why T.M. is so underrated. He's always been in the top 5 of my favourite "non jazz" bass players, along with Bootsy, Georges Decimus or Les Claypool...
