I have been a " Parliment/Funckadelic" Fuckateer since I joined The United States Air Force in July of 1971! While enlisted I have lived as a Funckateer. The Music & Album Covers were like my Bible. I was blown away & became one of the most intelligent & controversal African American the Air Force have encountered. Now, they are trying to pay me up, or off. I dont care about the money because I am a Funckateer. And this is me! Thank you. George & Sisters & Brothers of the Planet Groove!rs! I am a Roman Catholic now & I still Funk with the Funk of Funkadelic! PS,...,,....I attended your Concert in Lawrence Kansanat the University of Kansas. Rudy Ray Moore stoled the Show until I all of you in the Glory of Funk !
I love me some Parliament Funkadelic!!! Old School Music!! Live Band, instrumentation straight fire 🔥 Mr. Bernie Worrell baaadest keyboard player ever!!! Bootsy Collins baaadest guitarist, bass player!!!🎸 Rubber band Bless the whole crew from !! P-FUNK!! George Clinton!!!
Bootsy is the Prime Minister of Funk and the dopest act on tour anywhere in the world! The songs are always great; the live music is always extra tight, and his willingness to go out into the crowd and bond with his loyal fans only let's the world know that "Funk not only moves...it can REmove, Dig?" Long live Funk and long live the legendary Bootsy Collins. RIP Eddie "Maggot Brain" Hazel, Bernie Worrell and Catfish Collins.
I play guitar to this day because of Mike Hampton, Eddie Hazel! Jimi Hendrix was not the first to play a Fender Stratocaster with the reversed neck. It was Mike Hampton! Ask Fender Guitars. Funky, classically trained, premier musicians! From George Clinton on out. Real music, real people, real funky!
The FREEDOM of expression (both individually and collectively) these musicians on stage have is the most amazing thing I have ever seem, musically. This is insane. For a second, you cant believe this is all played live. Each and every instrumentalist is given a chance to do their thing, and still play with the band. I actually deployed a tear(out of emotion) while watching this. I would like to attend P-Funk concert. RIP Bernie Worrell.
i love when they do the ''touch'' bit, Bootsy just embraces the people, holds their hands and grooves with them. That's a artist and the audience being family, i love when a star shows humility like that. God bless this incredible band
Bootsy make sure you have given your life to Almighty God. Rarely does he laden someone with so much talent. You owe Him so much. I want you to leave this life in a way where I will still hear you in heaven. Love you my Brother
Bootsy is one of the most outstanding funkmasters of our lives, it's amazing to see him still going so strong after all these years,he is a legend and Icon and a international treasure and one of the greatest artists to ever grace the stage, to the commander and chief of the funkdafide nation I salute you 🫡💯
Great Concert. Bootsy Collins the one and only. Brother Bootsy is a great musician and great human being. Love that Brother. The Band was off the chain. This performance was almost a decade ago. Time go's very fast.
How can this still sound sooooooo good after all these years? Takes me back to my teen years! Funky power, by the hour, sits and sits and never goes sour! RIP Bernie Worrell....funkiest keyboardist to ever live!
@benmaurer8055 Yes, Bootsy is a musical genius. I had the opportunity to see him back in the day with my boyfriend, at the time, when Bootsy was still with Parliament/Funkadelic when he branched off into "Bootsy's Rubber Band." It was an amazing show! I always had a crush on him. LOL! 😂 I had never seen a bass player play the bass as if he was the lead guitarist and the lead singer. That was straight up "genius" on his part! Those were the good old days. Peace and much love. 😘 And, best wishes for a Happy New Year. 🎉
Simply takes my breath away. Pure live funk at it's best. Everything was so tight. If young cats want to know about why we were so crazy about funk back in 70s listen to this. Still extraordinary 40 years later. Some of the musicians who create this music have since passed on, but the music will live on.
Every single one of those people on stage are total & absolute masters of their craft - that's the only way you get to play with people like Bootsy, JB, MJ, Stevie etc. ty for an awesome upload!
The drummer is Frankie he's one of The Originals that been with booty before he was even booty when they were known as the house guests and that was after they left James Brown that was even before they met George Clinton in the house guests also featured Felipe Williams from The Spinners he was in that group originally before the Spinners
852 never die can't find anything like that ever in life again amazing booty rubberband Man life is so smooth back in when you have a g******* if we had this mess and we have no bad credit in office we have no more pain drug that take people out and we had life living smooth sailing living real life keep it pimpin we like to party rubberband Man thank you in the bottom of my heart

i know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
I bet nobody's mentioned it, but I'm digging the wardrobe change. The white sequin suit with the white shades with blue rhinestones...It's good to see that he still represents...G.O.M.A.B.

Hi Sandy. Just never understood why T.M. is so underrated. He's always been in the top 5 of my favourite "non jazz" bass players, along with Bootsy, Georges Decimus or Les Claypool... No one seem to remember about him. If you talk to him, please let him know he has got some great fans and friends from France. Peace of god and love to him!
I love how Lydia on bass described him as having "like 5 voices in one voice". The texture of his voice is like several people talking at the same time lol
Bootsy is a helluva musician/bass player and lead vocals this a blast from the past music was real back then pocket and groove awesome band is it just me there's 2 other bass players onstage playing along with Bootsy
No there are 2 other bass players to be able to duplicate what bootsy did in the studio as he needs live a bass player to jump in and do clean bass tones when he distorts his bass so the bottom end does not drop out. And if you listen to old parliament recordings the reason why you hear so much moog bass synth sounds was so the bottom end did not drop out while bootsy would layer stuff like slap bass over the basic rythms that type of stuff was before parliament typically done with British prog rock bands who were heavily influenced by fusion jazz, stuff like the John mahavisnu Orchestra and king crimson. But genesis during the Peter Gabriel days was using moog tauras bass pedals in songs like firth of fifth so Mike Rutherford could play rythym electric guitar alongside Steve Hackett so for those hip hop people who love that deep bass that moves yiyexsib woofer that's a moog tauras pedal sound. God bless bootsy for bringing to the masses influences from other genres including the British and bernue worrall with those moog synths.
Thanks for all the years of Funk🕺🏽💃🏽👯
I had the pleasure of recording with Bernie Worrell and sharing a live stage with "Bootsy"...

Bootsy's so very young at heart and that is what's so great about him still.
Ive been digging Bootsy since the 70's.I see my man T.M. Stevens giving support on the low end
TM Stevens AND Bootsy on the same stage? How did the world not melt under the weight of that pure heavy unadulterated funk.
This is a really good show. The musicians are tight in the pocket and most definitely ON THE ONE☝! KEEP THE FUNK ALIVE IN 2021 🤘🤘!
Love the interaction between the vocals and the horns. After a slow start Bootsy showcases his catalogue very well. (and a strong one it is) !

Playing bass along side Bootsy is my long time friend T.M.Stevens.
