Loving watching tutorial-style videos, it is very useful to see all the different things that are possible in Illustrator. I always look forward to your videos, the content and your enthusiasm help encourage and motivate me so much. Definitely looking forward to seeing what content you come out with next. Information and tips on earning passive income would be very useful. Another thing I would love to see is your tips and tricks for building an effective portfolio, such as layouts and how many items. Really looking forward to your next video. Thank you for continuing to share your amazing content.
Thank you for your kind words!!! I am so glad you enjoyed the video ♥️ I have noted down the portfolio request and will make a video on that in the future!
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I used a mockup template from Envato Elements - I imported the mockup to Photoshop and edited from there :) Here’s a link to Envato if you’re interested :) 1.envato.market/emilywilson
In your artboard setup/document settings, you can add a bleed there - it’s recommended to have at least .125 inch bleed. When designing, make sure your background items are extended slightly past the bleed lines that now appear (no text or any important items should be beyond the actual artboard). Then when you export, make sure you check “use document bleed settings” 🥰
Hello! Great tutorial. I have a greeting card business and I'm just learning AI. What did you select to help center the text on the inside of the card? I can't seem to find that. Thank you. 😊
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I believe you are referring to the alignment tools - mine are on the right hand side of my Illustrator screen, labeled “align” - but if you can’t find yours there go to Window>Align and then the align panel will appear :) there are several options for left align, center align, etc. I hope this helps! ♥️
I am not super familiar with the iPad screens 😭 to clarify - are you trying to print the document or trying to set up the initial document? If trying to print - you might see if you can export to a pdf file and see if you have additional options from there. I’m so sorry, I haven’t used illustrator on an iPad yet 😞😞
I really love your video. Thanks for sharing

do you know how to do a bleed area for printing please

Do you have a video that shows it in an iPad or how to get to the sizes? Mine has a print option or illustrator option. A4 or A3. Feeling so lost!
