Spot on. People like that deserve basic human rights as does any other human. He deserves a roof above his head and a job. It's rare to see someone like that with such a personality, whatever happened i really doubt it was the gentlemen's fault that got him homeless.

More than the givers generosity I was touched by this poor man's generosity. He wanted to share his good fortune right a way and give half of the money to the giver. It often is like that, that those who have a lot finds it difficult to share even a penny with anyone but those who have nothing or little still shares from the little they have.

This really warms my heart, there are kids who complain they didnt get the right color iphone they wanted or the right color jordans or got a shirt they didnt like or a certain present they didnt like and that disgusts me, and this man who had NOTHING more than a jacket, a pair of cloths, pair of worn out shoes, and he was given $1000 and he wanted to SHARE it, when he had pretty much nothing, its quite amazing...

This really gets me thinking. Incredible how we wander around in our "normal lives" when people like this homeless man who only had a few dollars on his pocket all his life breaks down in tears for a 1000 dollars and still he wanted to share the money. It was probably the best day of his life. Too many people take their life for granted. When he started crying i almost had to slap myself in the face to feel like a man again. This makes me wanna go do the same thing. God bless the both of you.
As a 5 year military vet who fell on hard times, a stranger did something similar to this for me with a 100 dollar bill when I was selling bottled water at the beach. I teared up too. I know the feeling.
