Wild at Heart is the best series I have seen in forever. Love Hayley Mills. Was my teen idol and still my favorite actress. Loved Pollyanna as a youngster.

Interesting comment about the voice. Having watched her films since the first, Tiger Bay in 1959, I hadn't remembered her voice as sounding so off-hand, almost arrogant. Haven't seen her in anything for years, including Wild at Heart, which appears to have had limited release outside the UK and Africa. Shame it kept her from appearing in more interesting roles.

I’ve be a fan of Hayley’s from the very beginning of her career. Since I have hearing damage, I tend to read lip movements. If you’ve never seen this happen, when you watch an old movie of hers, look for her to do two things. She likes to lick her upper lip and will pull in her lower lip in over her teeth, like she’s going to bite it. If you watch this video, she pulls her lower lip into her mouth one time. I think it’s a stress release moment or something but it’s the cutest thing and she’s never outgrown doing it. Just thought you’d like to know.
