I lost my grandpa when I was 8 years old and then it was harder to grasp the idea, but now I can’t help but get a little teary eyed when I think of him. Unless you're editing them out, I don't think I've ever really seen either of your girls throw a temper tantrum, pout, sulk - any of the behaviors that one might expect.

Those waffles look wonderful!!!
Chew gum on your flight, especially during take-off and landing. It works for most people. Back in the day, the flight attendants (stewardesses' back then ) use to hand out gum to the passengers. The chewing motion keeps you from getting pressure in your ears to begin with. I've heard it works well with babies to have them chomping on a binky or being breastfed during take-off.
