A fantastic book by Jeff Keller with a very similar message as “The Power of Subconscious Mind” by Dr. Joseph Murphy.
Your thoughts dominate and drive your circumstances, your attitude towards life and people is your window to your world. Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.
Jeff has very smartly used quotes from famous leaders to connect the story and convey his message.
What I take from the book is, we have the whole universe to offer us what we want, it depends on what we ask for. The universe does not build boundaries, we build our mental boundaries that are restricting us from achieving our dreams.
As humans, we always try to evaluate the pros and cons of any future event or action, and this defines the quality of efforts that we put to achieve the goal.
The fact is as a general tendency, we have been tuned to think of the negatives first and hence, we direct our efforts to prevent the anticipated damage rather than focusing and putting more energy on the positives.
If you can think about achieving your goal and if you are committed, you need not worry at the outset about “How to achieve it.”
Imagination is more important than knowledge. Stop thinking negative. Repeat anything often and it will start to become you.
REMEMBER: Your words reinforce your beliefs…and your beliefs create your reality
Start building a strong positive belief system by:
1. building a positive attitude - think positive, speak positive
2. having like-minded positive people around
3. ACT in the direction of your goal, take small but concrete steps with a positive mindset.
