To everyone who wants to know what cupping is and how it works: When a muscle is sore, tense, or just plain overworked, it has a hard time pushing old blood out so it sort of stagnates in the muscle. And the fascia in the body has a habit of wanting to stick to itself causing more pain to build by not allowing your muscle to move properly. When you apply a cup to the affected area, the cup creates suction and pulls that old blood out and allows fresh blood to come into the muscle and start repairing itself. And with fascia, it helps break up all the sticking together. These cups are used when you use a suction pump. Thats why they are hard plastic and have those nubs on the top. There's also fire cupping, which uses a glass cup and heat to create the suction. Both of these aren't really meant to be moved around, just placed in the affected area. Silicone cups however, are a lot more flexible. With silicone cups, you can leave them placed like in this video, or move them around as they're suctioned to your body. Using silicone cups is my preferred way to cup clients as some of them don't want the marks that are left, but still need that deep muscle treatment. Cupping is fantastic, but can hurt you if you leave them for too long, or have them too tight. I always recommend giving cupping a try if you know a massage therapist or physical therapist who knows how to do it properly. It can make you feel so much lighter and take away that deep ache that can settle into overworked muscles.
@@stropex2165 you're right that it's damaged tissue fibers, but I'm not saying there's blocked blood flow. I'm saying it sort of stagnates in a way. As in, the oxygen rich blood has a very hard time actually getting down into the a capillary beds. So the muscle starts to become oxygen-starved. I'm not saying your blood is clotting in the actual muscle, just that the nutrients can't reach as well or as far into the muscle to start repairing those damaged fibers

Maybe it’s wrong wording, but the point of cupping is to stimulate and enhance blood flow. You only break the blood vessels right below the skin. When it heals, your body generally tends to feel more energised. I wouldn’t recommend using heat to do the cupping if not experienced, but rather use manual air pumps.
Do a video on dry needling. It has changed my life. I had headaches daily some, that last a week or two! This had been going on for over 10 years, since the end of Aug, I've only had about 5 light headaches.
@@conniecripps9669 yes. My doctor was the one that suggested dry needling. The headaches are always triggered by a muscle in my left trap/shoulder blade. If blood is stagnating in area of the body, muscle pain is the least of your worries.
Actually fire cupping can do exactly the moving around part, the body area just need to be oiled up.
To my knowledge, sore muscles are very tiny damaged muscle fibers which need time regenerate. Blocked bloodflow would lead to the muscle tissues death

ME TOO AHHH
@@strwber_ 😂🖤🖤🖤👑
That looks hideous! 🤢
The circles go away after a short while, not to mention, they aren't there to look pretty but for actual pain relief, just because you've never needed any treatments for pain relief it doesn't mean that nobody else has
@@tadbitahistory9828 I wasn’t talking about the red circles on his back! I have trypophobia and just looking at all the cups on his back trigger it, I have nothing against cupping but it looks hideous, also don’t assume I’ve never needed treatment for actual pain relief! The audacity 🙄
@@newportition You still haven't proved anything, you for one, did not have to say it looked hideous. You made no actual point and then finished that statement with the same thing you said in your original comment. Then you feel the meed to talk to me about audacity.
For people who thinks it weird its not ITS just to reduce pain And heat And vid says it to
Honestly, that does seem to feel good and refreshing. I love having a little pain to feel no pain after.
Even though I want to try this for the feeling of this, it gives me the creeps so I won't
You should find a massage therapist in your area who does cupping and give it a try! There's so many forms of cupping that I'm sure you'd love it!
@@alchemistcannon Naaaaaahhhh. I already gave my reason, plus this ain't the only form of massage therapy out there
Oh god i remember as a kid i got a real bad flu, literally couldn't go away with given mediaction but then my grandma put some of these things and i was way better the day after
Me having trypophobia-
no. please. no. I hate you.
*watches it again and again for ✨DISCOMFORT✨*
Cannot agree more😂🤢
Fr, it's so hard to look away for some reason even though it's uncomfortable to watch at the same time
@@ethanscinematicuniverse3260 dude exactly!
This is popular sunnah of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. It’s called hijaama in Arabic!
First glance made my skin crawl!! 😮Then he said, "So good!!!
This feels fucking painful at the start and you get kickass rush of joy when you take them off.
Whenever my Dad did this on hjs back, I thought it looked like a slice of salami or peparoni
One time, I had an archery set with those plastic arrows, me and my uncle got bored and stuck them on our heads bc we wanted to be unicorns, I took it off and there was a HUGE red circle in my head, so I told my mom it hurled and I didn’t go school, but even after that one day it was still there, so when I did go to school, there was just a red circle. Luckily, my mom realised that she can put some power on it so we got out of the car (just as I was going to class) and she grabbed some power from her bag and some foundation (I think) and she quickly covered it up. And no one at school ever knew!
As muslim we call it hijama and prophet Muhammad peace be upon him recommended it to us as it is very beneficial for health and rids the body of toxins ❤
I find wearing pure wool over cotton warms me and reduces pain.
Cupping appeared in Islam, why don't you tell the truth, someone says from China and someone says from Egypt, our Holy Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the one who recommended it to us 😏
I remember my mom used to do it to me when I was younger or sick and it actually really helped.
I used to do that for my dad when he was alive. Every time he don't feel good. He always asked me to do it for him. I used baby Gerber jar.
Great I knew it would trigger my trypophobia but I couldn’t stop myself from clicking the video, then I couldn’t stop myself while watching while simultaneously crying from the itching it caused. Thank you🙏🏾
There is another interesting Therapy method- Hypnotherapy. You get hypnotized to fall asleep and I've never done since I do Speech and Language but I think it relaxes your muscles and body
Wet cupppng helped with my migraines it’s been a year now and no attacks
With that back, he could act as villain in marvel.
I had cupping therapy and it's so nice and relaxing
People with trypophobia like me are disgusted I can't tell you how uncomfortable I am right now
This looks like the intro cutscene of one of those buff cyborg bosses you fight in games like Resident Evil
Homunculus getting out from the cryogenic hibernation capsule be like:
I do acupuncture and cupping 1x/wk and I absolutely love it!!!! Amazing therapy!
Nah that's Tai Lung escaping prison
This made my skin crawl and the sound doesnt make it any better my gosh😢😢😢😂
:D The ways I mostly do it for holding my smartphone:
Lying down on my yoga mat, and holding it above me. Lying on my side on my yoga mat, and having it eye-level that way. Putting my elbows on my table to have it eye-level. When I'm out, I usually rest my elbows on my stomach. Putting one hand under the tricep to hold up the one arm.

Phelps did dry cupping it's a little different that's why his spots were so purple.
Also the Mayans used Pottery to do cupping pretty interesting
It's funny how the madkhalis fulfil the trait of the true khawarij, 1) they'll be from our ppl 2) harsh against the Muslims merciful towards the kufar 3) the Quran doesn't leave their throats.
Sucks to be the people that say they have a phobia of this... Clearly people live very sheltered lives unlike myself who experienced hell on earth from 3 to 25 years old...
Cupping and dry needles saved me from a pulled tendon
