This sounds awesome; so glad to see parlor-sized guitars in the lineup. The popularity of ukes and apartment living shows the need for smaller instruments, and with the amplification options we have nowadays it just makes sense that you don't need all that size.
Yeah I just can't even get my 000 and OM guitars through my apartment door and that full sound they make always has neighbors calling in the SWAT team!
These look awesome! Totally agree how this body style can be useful for studio work. Loving the different finish options too. Another spectacular instrument by PRS. 👏🏻
I don't have a parlor guitar. Fell in love with them when I played a Martin. I love PRS and now they have an SE. Only a matter of time now. A short matter of time.
Just bought my first prs acoustic a A50e maple and I'm HOOKED iv spent 10s of thousands on all the big name guitars over 25 years and they completely destroy all my Taylor's and Martin's sound and feel, simply incredible. I'm all about made in USA but prs does it like no one else.
I adore my SE Custom 24. I didn't have an acoustic. So I bought an SE T50E from thomann. It arrived with a cracked fretboard and fretwork that rendered it unplayable (frets 10-14 would produce the fret 14 note). The case was also broken. I sent it back, requesting a replacement model. Thomann said that their replacement model, after testing, proved to be "not adequate for sale" and they refunded me instead. I don't know, maybe I was super unlucky and PRS makes all kinds of great acoustics. I ended up buying a different brand (not mentioned out of respect and love for PRS) acoustic. Before I would consider another PRS acoustic I would need the company to acknowledge quality control problems and state that they have been addressed somehow.
the video could start with "hi everyone im Brian Ewald and this is a paint can i strapped a rubber band to" and i would still be like damn Brian ok rip that thing man! lol
Great vibe , this guitar has presence and sparkle I already have a PRS Angelus this guitar would be great for going on holiday or taking camping or to the beach .😊👍
It really does sound like a D-28 or such with the lower-mids attenuated. Exactly what is necessary when adding a strummed acoustic into a mix. If you wanted more bottom I bet it could be added as well with a bit of EQ. Nice guitar at a fair price.
Nice guitar, sounds great, and I like the fit and finish with an attractive price. The deal breaker, for me, is the 1.6875" nut. Just a bit too narrow.
@@edwindude9893 I absolutely 💯love it. It's smooth to play. A very comfortable guitar to play because it's not to big. Get on the guitar app called reverb. And they have them for sale for $450

I purchased the P20 mahogany sunburst It took a month to arrive A good deal for a high quality instrument & great price includes a decent quality case ✌🏽
Awesome. I have an A50EVS, my favourite guitar. Was looking for something else feom PRS acoustics to complement it. One thing that i wish Fishman would do is put a midway notch on their soundhole volume and tone controls, its possible to get lost sometimes, but im being picky
I can't wait til they build like a 000-style guitar. The Parlors sound great, but I need just a little more volume and low-end than any parlor guitar I've ever played. The 24 3/4" scale is a must for me, I just don't care for 25.5" acoustics.
Hey PRS. I purchased a P20E and I love it. This may be sacrilegious , but when I do plug it in I am using a Bugera Infinium 5W. Mistake ? Or would you recommend another amp ?
I bought a PRS SE P20E Vintage Mahogany a few months ago and I am really pleased with it. Do you know what is the best cleaner that I can use to clean the body of the guitar? Many thanks.
Bought an SE Custom 24 a month ago via Thomann and had to send it back, because the higher frets were horribly cut, making the notes die out in less than a second. They sent it to your factory in GB and I haven't heard from them in over two weeks, whether they'll fix it or exchange it or not. Thomann can't give me any info either. I've only heard good before, but now I'm not so sure about PRS anymore...
Sorry to hear you got a dud. My SE 24 is quite impressive. ----Thomann should have sent you a new one. I only buy on line from Sweetwater. The one or two issues I've had were immediately fixed. Passing the blame to the manufacturer(especially for something made in CHINA!) is massive BS and you should tell Thomann that. THEY bought the sh!tty guitar, Not you. for me... Mental note - Thomann=No Go. (same boat as Musician's Fiende - make you pay for return shipping on defective gear)
I just bought a PRS SE P20E Tonare Charcoal. I can't seem to find any info on how to decode the PRS serial number (D18032). Can someone at PRS let me know when this guitar was built?
A set of 12's as played would test my fingers and that of a beginner or kid I'd reckon. I've got a parlour guitar which has been lots of fun to play but tried others and they have been underwhelming.
Hi Lou, This guitar started shipping worldwide when this video dropped in May. It's been a wildly popular model for us, so there is a good chance it is sold out at the locations where you are looking for it. Not to worry though, more are on the way for the stores that have placed another order. If there is anything else we can help you with, please contact us via email at custserv@prsguitars.com or by phone at (410) 643-9970. Thanks! -PRS Customer Service
Hi Neko T, No. When it comes to the naming of our SE acoustic guitars, the number portion of the name designates the wood type used to construct the back and sides of the body. In this case, the P20 and P20E, are (P) for parlor sized acoustics, with (20) mahogany back and sides, and (E) for equipped with a onboard electronics and an acoustic pickup. Hope that helps! -PRS Customer Service Department

Parlor guitar construction and materials can produce volume without a circuit getting in the way of the music.
I watch partly for the guitars, but mostly for Ewald's insanely in-the-pocket, groovy playing.

Got mine today and it’s amazing. I never use 012s but the action on this instrument is outstanding. Thanks again PRS.
Never tried this Parlour body shape before, but I really love the sound
Classy-looking guitar. But for my opinion only, a santana-style headstock shape will fit the look even better
