Hand-wash only wool is almost certainly non-superwash, so we'll done! The colour is stunning and I'm looking forward to seeing the sweater you are going to knit with it!
Thanks for your lovely episode. I’m heading to Amsterdam this summer, so I was particularly interested to see this one! As for your Plum yarn, I have a similar color yarn which I used for a Belle pullover. It has become one of my favorites and was a joy to knit! 🤗
Congratulations on becoming a sock knitter!! Welcome aboard. My friend and I attended a sock class back in 2017, I still have the small sock sample we knitted and I've been hooked ever since.
Wonderful that you were able to put together this podcast considering the sound issues you had! How nice to hear your excitement for new yarn and project ideas.
What a nice podcast about your trip to Amsterdam, Hanna. I love Amsterdam, like to go there. S&P is indeed so amazing, the other two yarn shops I’ve never been, but I will for sure go when I will be in Amsterdam again. You’ve bought some nice yarns and souvenirs.
Thank you, dear Ingrid! :) I am glad that you enjoyed it. If you are in Amsterdam again, please let me know how you liked the other two yarn stores. :)
This was lovely, makes me want to plan a yarn-tour trip to Amsterdam! I'm also excited for your next podcast episode to see what socks you have chosen to make. Can't wait to see those socks!
That is awesome to hear, Kaitlin! :) Thanks for watching! I just uploaded the new episode and you can definitely expect to see some socks. ;) I hope you will enjoy it.
Thank you for the Amsterdam tour, I’m hoping to visit this year, so the map is very helpful. My first set of 9” circulars were wooden ChiaoGoos from my lys. I foolishly loaned them out before covid and not seen the person since! They did convert me to ChiaoGoos tho 😊
That is great! I hope you will have a wonderful time in Amsterdam, Mandy! :) I wasn't aware that wooden 9" circular ChiaoGoos existed. Thanks for letting me know! :) I hope you will get yours back soon. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Hi Hanna, that was lovely, thanks for the nice recommendations! As a new knitter from the Netherlands, I didn't know the last two yarn stores yet and I will definitely visit them!

That is wonderful to hear, Janneke! :) Thanks for watching and congratulations on becomming a newbie knitter! :) Welcome to the knitting community!
The best needles I've used for sock knitting is Addis 9" Sock Wonder needles - one of them longer than the other and makes things so much easier.
Thanks for sharing, Karen! :) I heard this before from other knitters. I haven't tried them myself but they seem to be very popular.
