So true. Most other places in the world you have to fit into a particular category- either your pop or country or R&B and if you don't pick a lane they don't know what to do. Our Aussie artists just are. They're a unique blend of so many influences and we're all just ok with it and embrace it for what they're giving us

As an Aussie thats lived in the UK for 15 years one thing that is similar between the UK and Australia which I don't think happens in the US is a lot of bands come up through the pub scene and here in the UK we have Radio 1 which has an introducing new talent section same as Triple J at home does which obviously is how Silverchair were discovered. Also from my experience the music festival scene here in the UK is similar to home but obviously on a much larger scale. When I was here in 1999 I saw Super Jesus at a club for £5 and as you walked in the photos of past acts were amazing like Counting Crows etc. I also got to see Powderfinger here in London and listening to thousands of people sing My Happiness was the best. I've always felt its unfortunate that the US doesn't know more about our music
I love Diesel!! I remember I was in high school and I read a review of his concert that said something like: "he ignores the audience and makes love to his guitar and microphone on stage".
I saw this man live last night dude I have heard couple of his songs the radio and I was surprised he’s got a broad range of music he can sing I am newly minted fan
I love how much your loving our Aussie talent , we have some of the best musicians in the world. I got Diesels first album at age 10 , i had John Farnhams stuff at age 9 and Jimmy Barnes has been apart of my music collection since the early 80s. Oddly enough I grew up to be a massive Metal head but i have been going back and loving the Aussie Music i grew up on. Lucky to see all these guys live dozens of times. Its a damn shame these guys are not World famous and talked about in the same way R&B legends/ Rock Legends are.
I absolutely love you at 8:16 when you say “See!” and the look on your face when you cross your arms… you look just like my little nephew when he gets cranky when I’m teasing him hehehehehe
Lol... Awesome to see you hear Diesel's Soulful voice heaps of those types of tunes out there . He the Man . Need to introduce you to Jon Stevens as well !
You haven't heard anything of Diesel yet. His later singing to date live is better than ever before. The best $60 you'll ever see live. You Tube or Spotify just doesn't do him justice. He can make the same 20 songs sound better than the last every time. His voice & musical ability has only gotten better with age. He is a one man show, him & a zillion guitars.

Keep them reactions coming & an update in regards to your interview so we can tune in too.
And most of all, it's a relief to see your equipment is still intact. So many close calls reacting to the Aussie singers lol.
I absolutely love Jimmy and John, they are epic. Diesel hits me in the feels in a different way and is just as epic.
When that clip ended and went to John Swan singing I Was a Carpenter. You should have let it run. Trust me. That's the best Swannie video.
One of our best.👏👏
Otis Redding sings it effortless , giving the path for all singers to do justice
I know diesel, but never heard this one, legit made me cry👍
Loved Diesel❤
🔥🔥🔥 Diesel is amazing
You need to watch, all come together, live and acoustic..👍
Bro, you come down to Australia once all this covid stuff is over and catch a live show. Seeing the likes of Diesel live is a life changing moment.
Agreed! Seen a lot of top, world famous acts in concert, only Diesel had me leaving the gig walking on air feeling irrepressible joy.
I love Diesel!! I remember I was in high school and I read a review of his concert that said something like: "he ignores the audience and makes love to his guitar and microphone on stage".
Awesome and Congratulations ✌️🍷
Just watched again - great reaction!
Awesome reaction 💖💖💖
I saw this man live last night dude I have heard couple of his songs the radio and I was surprised he’s got a broad range of music he can sing I am newly minted fan
Yes that was my reaction it’s so sick
And I am Australian so I will see him again if he comes my way again
I love how much your loving our Aussie talent , we have some of the best musicians in the world.
I got Diesels first album at age 10 , i had John Farnhams stuff at age 9 and Jimmy Barnes has been apart of my music collection since the early 80s.
Oddly enough I grew up to be a massive Metal head but i have been going back and loving the Aussie Music i grew up on.
Lucky to see all these guys live dozens of times.
Its a damn shame these guys are not World famous and talked about in the same way R&B legends/ Rock Legends are.
This is an Otis Redding cover, but Diesel does an amazing job on it! 👏 It must be something in the water in Australia! 🤔 😊
I was super lucky to see Jimmy & Johny together in Tassie many a year a go now, on the Soul Deep Tour….Phenomenal! Happy Days ☺️
One of my favourite songs and yes he is so good. ❤️ I feel the same every time I listen to it. 👊 your reactions are the best. 🙏😀💕
The next singer up on that clip of Diesel you were watching was Swanee, Jimi Barnes older brother.
Love this time of the day again!! So much knowledge of vocal cords and range and Aussie artists. Thanks again ❤️🇦🇺🙏
I remember seeing most of these Aussie bands in pubs when I was younger. they all used to still play small local gigs even when they got big
John (Mark) is super amazing live in person. Jimmy is so awesome live too. Best times of my life.
Love this song
Well said Acacia spot on !
wow I forgot about Diesel tbh , I mean I heard him early, very early, but yeah this was great.
Haha you're an Ozzie at heart n soul!
You've done Jimmys background singer and guitarist now time to do Jiohn Farnhams backup singer in Jack Jones and his band Southern sons
