Top quality. Still very wanted all over the world, and absolutely one of the best high-end receivers. Tandberg set the reference, and I doubt that you can find something that sounds like that.
Tandberg TR 2080 - great amplifier. In my youth at 70's B&O and Tandberg was the most wanted hifi equipments. Still I have Tandberg 3500 X reel deck in use.
Super important- you actually need to have the stereo button pressed to listen in stereo, with nothing pressed it defaults to mono. You were listening in mono... Also, it''s light because it has an aluminum chassis, not stamped steel.
The Tandberg speakers are impressive looking. I love the receiver though because it is vintage audio and it may need love, but it is a good sounding receiver which is what I expect from Vintage audio
i play now everything from my phone through chromecast, my playlist and radio...the only thing is that my phone's sabre dac doesn't work when the headphone out isn't connected. When played withe the headphone out /directly to my amp the sound is better than through wifi
Had to show my buddy this video today. It has really nice sound straight out of the amp....I'm curious what it sounds like using it as a pre-amp into a nice thick sounding power amp. Long time viewer...first time commenting. Love your vids dude..they relax me. Thx.
The Heco's are much better but the second hand value is about 3 times higher so that's not a honest compare. The new canton reference K line's are probably better as the Heco's but the cheapest reference K start with 2700 apiece up to 11.000 euro apiece for the reference 1K....so also that's not a good compare with the Heco's. Maybe the Heco's can compare with the cheapest Canton reference 8k(2000 apiece), reference 7k(2350 apiece), reference 5K(2850 apiece) and reference 3K (4250 apiece)..not sure
@@vintagestereo I was referring to the old canton www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/canton/digital-1.shtml The new ones are very expensive. I'm with RC-l and I doubt if digitala will be better. If you have any opinion I'll be grateful. Otherwise HECO-to super. Continue in the same spirit.
A very reasonably priced 2060 (£160 - rosewood) has come up on marketplace near me. Tempted but like the video creator, the looks just don’t excite me. Does sound good, though.
who knows how to setup a Denon DP 57L turntable with ortofon mc200?
I had this during end of the 70¨s -mid 80¨s wery good at the time
Had barely heard of these but exact one has come up on kijiji in Ontario Canada it looks very ineresting . Perfect timing with the video. thnx
Wow that sounds amazing!!! I love the way it looks...

A well serviced TR-2080 is one of the best vintage receivers you can get. High end performance.

Nice video's Andrew, nice sound
Who is the artist, the blues number?

Klinkt niet verkeerd.
Heeft waarschijnlijk een goeie service beurt nodig.
Weer een leuke video André.
Gr André de vries.

Looks like your Vu meters may need some lamps in them

We wait for the hemo premiere. How much better are by Canton. It is distinct if you have heard Canton Digital 1, which is a high-end of RC-L.

Awesome find dude! I had a 2060 and I sold it. Idiot.
