This has become a well known classic song here in Sweden. Everyobe loves it. If you had opinions on her outfit here you should see the one she wore when she won Melodifestivalen 😆

Carola is a wellknown artist in Sweden, and in the other Nordic countries (and people interested in Eurovision also know about her). This was her breakthrough in 1983, when she was 16 years old. She came back in 1991 with "Fångad av en stormvind" and won both Melodifestivalen and Eurovision in 1991 (which you've reacted to) and in 2005 she won Melodifestivalen again, and got to represent Sweden with the song "Invincible", and came on 5th place. Hope you react to that one too.
She was invited to Melodi Grand Prix Norway (that's like Melodifestivalen, but Norway) where they did a Sweden tribute medley in 2024 (the other singers are Norwegian artists doing the Swedish songs):
"Swedish Eurovision Medley | Interval Act | Melodi Grand Prix 2024 | Grand Final"
In this medley Alexander Rybak sings "Främling", in quite decent Swedish, for a Norwegian.

Now that you reacted to this (the original performance) i think it would be great if you react to her performance at Melodifestivalen 2013, interval act. She was invited to perform Främling because the song celebrated its 30 years since the debut in 1983. Remember it was her first time representing Sweden. Note: don't miss the last part, after she ended the song, she sings a bit a capella with the publix singing along.

Edit: she participated once again in 2006 representing Sweding and she got 5th with the song Invincible, so technically Sweden got top 3 the 3 times that sent her.
