I take it a few times a week and never experienced any headaches. I've noticed if I combine it with Alpha GPC or CDP choline I feel fatigued and depressed. I don’t react well to choline supplements even if I take them by themselves. Perhaps I get enough choline through my diet, and taking extra choline is just too much? I've also noticed this with Noopept. I can’t take Noopept either because it gives me mental exhaustion, if I take a choline source it only makes the mental exhaustion worse.
Tom, you are one of the few people who are sensitive to excess acetylcholine. My wife is as well so I'm aware of this 'condition'. Not sure that it is a problem if you're aware of it. Which you are.
You likely could but not sure why you'd want to use both at the same time. Keep in mind these are prescription drugs in some parts of the world. And would never be considered to be taken together. Certainly wouldn't hurt to try however.
There is no "crash" once you stop using Oxiracetam. Nor does it deplete your natural neurotransmitters. The only one it directly affects is the synthesis of acetylcholine. Which is why you need to use CDP-Choline or Alpha GPC each time you use Oxiracetam. The "definition" of nootropics by the Dr. who invented Piracetam dictates they need to be safe to use and non-toxic to the brain.
Did you use a choline supplement when you used Oxiracetam or any of the other racetams? Because if you did not use something like Alpha GPC or CDP-Choline with it you could feel sleepy, get a racetam-headache, or feel nothing at all.
Would it be a wise combination to use noopept, citicoline, and oxiracetam together for the purpose of learning school material with better retention and quicker acquisition?
Jesse, should not be a problem. But I would try Noopept + Citicoline first to see how you feel. Then add Oxiracetam. All at recommended dosages. Using both you may need to increase your Citicoline dose.
It is possible but keep in mind that the racetams are prescribed as drugs in some countries. And they are not prescribed in combination with other racetams.
Mark, In consider Cerebrolysin dihexa as a "smart drug" and I do not review smart drugs. I made a decision early on when I started Nootropics Expert to only review natural nootropic supplements that you can get without a prescription from the local health food store or vitamin shop in most countries. The exception I think for obvious reasons are the racetams because Dr. Giurgea was the guy who coined the word "nootropic".
Hi David, have you tried Sunifiram which is similar to Aniracetam in terms of action. Wondering if the effects are similar.
Sam, I have not researched Sunifiram so cannot comment. There have been no human trials on this compound so it's unlikely I'll ever cover it.

What happens when you stop taking it after you’ve been on it a few months? Can it hinder your natural production of neurotransmitters?

When I take Oxiracetam, it makes me extremely sleepy. Why is this?
I literally feel nothing after taking any of the piracetams as well.

Does oxiracetam improve left and right hemisphere information exchange?
Not that I'm aware of. Aniracetam is the only racetam that we have at least anecdotal evidence of an increase in connection between brain hemispheres.
@@NootropicsExpert I know piracetam, like aniracetam, has increased hemisphere connections, right? Thank you
@@신화-t6x There is no evidence of Piracetam increasing hemisphere connections. Not even anecdotal evidence that I'm aware of.
Hey can we stack racetams?
