    Hey Mac you know I say it as it is!!! I enjoyed this one the voice over was spot on, the details you give are exactly what I'd expect to hear from the pro. That's a stout looking drill,your right to test it in real conditions I'd say that drill will find its place in your business. I think you covered the subject well...had you to wait for bonding coat to go "off" before you laid on multi finish?? 💚👍

    • @macplastering
      @macplastering  5 лет назад

      Cheers mate :) Yes this drill on another bigger job has actually performed even better than expected , Thanks for the feed back ate its much appreciated, Yes when i bonded I try and wait until it starts to colour like 50 60 % then i skim over I find as the bonding sets it helps the skim bond together and pull in a little , also youll find it takes slightly less effort and plaster to cover the 2 coats

    It's funny, back in the day we could strap every tool we needed to our trusty old push-bikes. Rules, shovel, bag of tools, masher, hod on the shoulder. Sometimes riding 12-15 miles to and from jobs every day - during the hot summers and thick snow and ice. (Yes! we 'were' allowed to carry on back then ;-)
    The thing is .... has the 'competency' kept up with the enormous amount of tools plasterers 'apparently' need these days? ........ Hmmmmm?? :-)

    • @macplastering
      @macplastering  5 лет назад +1

      I seem to be surrounded by top class extremely good and very competent plasterers the last load of years and some f them could near plaster a landing wall to a high standard with an old boot , but thankfully some companies out there have design newer and better tools to help lessen the pain and strain that this game has to offer , and believe it or not it all started with the old school plasterers , we younger's have a lot to thank them for buddy nothing wrong with hard work but I always say work smarter not harder , Hope your having a great week Peter

    Looks like a tidy bit of kit but it only seems to be available with 1 battery. That's a bit of a con in my eyes especially as they want £100 plus with delivery for a spare battery! Rubi are an unknown as far as battery technology so i'll be giving it a wide birth.

    • @macplastering
      @macplastering  5 лет назад

      Hey lee buddy so far it still working ok for me both it and the collo mix , the collo mix has a bigger whisk and one battery is bigger also on it , also got the refina power float that has 2 bats that fit to collo mix and the same the other way the power float holds the collo mix bats as they are made by metabo LOL sorry for all that info, but can be good to know also have a refina petrol mixer witch is a monster can mix render sweet. not sure if you seen any of those videos your more than welcome to have a look through them on the channel mate
