Just a small note there already is microtransactions on the xbox store for the game, 2 different cosmetic bundles are available to purchase with the game. So im sure we will see more. Can't wait to play even if it feels a little light on content.
I'm very hyped for this as well. I plan on focusing on the Tactical and Vanguard. And maybe even the bulwark as well. Really excited to see them in dark angels colors among other things.

This looks really fun but I’ll admit I’m worried about the replay ability of it- I couldn’t care less about PvP, so at launch I’ve got 6 missions total, basically. I’ll assume they’ll reuse maps for the story mode, so that’s not a staggering amount of content tbh. Same for the classes- 6 classes but that’s basically “ranged light medium and heavy, melee light medium and heavy” Hopefully they get a bit more content into it as time goes on, as it stands it comes out on like exactly the same day as the remnant 2 dlc and that frankly sounds more enticing, although I have enough friends picking this up that I’m sure I’ll grab it and have a blast!

Sorry I don't think I really explained this properly: you have the entire campaign and then the operations. both have replayability because there's unlocks at varying difficulties, as well as RNG resources that you gather. Think of it like playing Darktide: there were like 4 or 5 missions at launch, but the difficulty added variety to the replayability because the operations have a lot of RNG! Does that help!? Also we STILL haven't gotten the blog post where they outline what's coming with Operations: the big rumor is of course more maps, but mainly more classes (librarian & chaplain)
I can't confirm 100% but from what I've heard, yes! They're entirely different missions from the operations. Narratively they happen at the same time so you get to hear from both sides it's pretty cool
I've heard that perks won't actually be a thing in the PVP, so everyone will be in a equal power level, rather than high level perks and strongest versions of weapons.
A shame really, seems theres not over much to work towards unlocking in the long run. Also means that the things you do unlock feel meaningless as it has no effect on gaemplay.
@@willy.b.b3427 I get that, but it's mainly to keep PVP balanced. Because not all players will be able to farm the hardest modes to unlock the highest upgrades for weapons an all. They're not meaningless though, those upgrades an perks will help a ton during Operations on harder difficulty, which is what they're there for. They'll make PVP unbalanced and give players advantages. We don't need Space Marine 2 PvP wacky like CoD. Lol

Without perks and weapon variants, it just means everyone is gonna be using the exact same loadouts in the exact same way. For example, without perks and variants, picking the bolt pistol is just a downgrade over the heavy bolt pistol on assault. There's no reason to ever use it. Or why try to make a sniper with smg work? You're better off just taking a sniper or using a different class. With perks you could try make something interesting and different. Without them, you're just putting yourself at a disadvantage. It's gonna mean playing the same game every match. The same classes, using the same weapons with the same play style. I hope I'm wrong btw, I just have a bad feeling about the PvP is all.
The heavy will be my go to for obvious reason i mean who doesn't wanna go brrrrr! The other one thats interesting to me is the sniper i hope its solid for coop and not just made for pvp
Would you consider doing a new to 40k lore intro video for this game. For instance who/what are the Tyranids? What are the Nid's goals. Basic info on the imperium, guards, and Space Marines. Basically the setting for this game for someone who isn't familiar with 40k.

A thing that nobody mentions is if we will need to log/sign into an epic games account to play online? that's one of my biggest fear and i don't want to play pve operations offline as i want my progress saved
So it looks like you need to log into a focus entertainment account but I don't know if you explicitly need an epic account! Hope that helps bro. If i find out more I'll respond to this comment

Which is why i asked since a lot of people are not fans of epic games

Campaign is different, Titus and crew will be able to pick up and use any weapon type. You're not playing as a class in the campaign, you're Titus and his squad

I'm sure SM2 will play very smoothly on PS5. We'll Get the 60 fps performance mode and 30 fps GFX mode.

Operations are NOT solo as of right now. There is a "workaround" to play solo that is questionable at best.
