I don't know man, I reallllllly didn't enjoy my time in Vietnam. Something was just really off to the point where I was asking my husband if we were depressed there (irritated, sleeping all day, etc). We've been travelling for 4 years full-time and never experienced that feeling anywhere else. Felt like we were going crazy because we were so excited to go there! We even extended our stay FOUR times, hoping we'll feel what everyone was raving about but it never happened. We left and came to Osaka, Japan and wow, we've never been happier. We were immediately waking up at 5am naturally, outside exploring daily, way more productive, and inspired! I'm so happy you are enjoying your time in Vietnam. Maybe we'll try again next year.

I always felt guilty for having "off" days when traveling because I realize it's such a great privledge and (often unaccessible) dream for so many people, but EVERYBODY has bad days, and that's okay to admit, too. Thank you for your transparency and keeping it real.

Yeah I am sympathetic with your situation when travelling in such a bad weather like this. In the north, I think you should avoid coming in winter and spring because it is often very cloudy and cold. Hope that the weather will get better soon!
