Oh Amy! I have missed you so much! I'm so very happy for Kimberly! I know she's been thru some awful stuff and she so deserves to be happy! Praise God for all the blessings on your family! And, sweetie, rest assured your precious mom is seeing all that is going on! I just feel she is smiling so big watching all God is doing for y'all! Is Chelsea the one that's pregnant? I know how you feel about wanting to talk to your mom! Dec 3rd made 23 yrs my mama's been in heaven & hubby is buried just below my parents. There have been so many things I've wanted to talk to mama about! Everytime I go to the Cemetery, I ask mama to please watch over Larry. They loved him so much! They're in a beautiful Cemetery and I go as often as I can, kinda difficult with my walker, but I go. I feel such peace there. Our 49th anniversary would've been on the 12th, and I went to the Cemetery to spend time there. I tried hard not to cry, but I did. It hits at weird times. Its been 9 months now...I've spent my first birthday, Thanksgiving and soon Christmas without him. I've not bought any gifts, just ready for it to be over. All my grandkids are grown, get what they want all year. My 1 bio grandson & I have been spending more time together and that has been wonderful for me. My son & DIL will be here on Christmas day, then have to work after. They'll be going to her oldest daughter's house on Saturday or Sunday after Christmas to be with them & their granddaughter. Her other 3 kids & my bio grandson will be going there as well. I'm never invited, but I wouldn't go anyway. This old woman just aint in to all that anymore. They brought me home a pile of leftovers cause they did the same thing at Thanksgiving, so they'll be bringing home leftovers this time, too. You know, God has blessed me in ways I never expected since Larry died. And I just know He will bless Kimberly, her boys, you & your family in every way! Just keep the faith, as I know you will! And just remember, "Be Still and know that I am God." I've held onto that verse since I first started having health issues in 1997 & I know your mom loved it, too. So, close your eyes, sweetheart, and in your mind you'll see mom smiling & happy for her 2 precious daughters and her grands! I love you, Amy, and I hope you give us a video again soon!! My husband after 40 years cheated on me and divorced me. Anyway he left me to take care of the house. So after 37 years at the house I had so much stuff. And he left me to do it all by myself. I had a lot of work. Moved to another state and am very sad, it’s hard. Very sad

I started crying with you when you said you wished you could tell your mom😢 I lost my dad when I was 27, and he was an anchor for our family. In these past 10 years without him, there have been so many times I wished he could have been there, that he could see the man I married, or that I could hug him and talk to him again.
