As someone who has had to take care of over 3,000 poinsettias during the Christmas season at a large retailer/floral place I can tell you the poinsettias need a little bit of water every single day they cannot be dried out yet they do not want to be very very wet either. They cannot stay sitting in water. Ever also keep them away from the cold and drafts they're actually tropical plants and do not like to get cold at all. Don't have them in too high of an elevated place as they will get dried out quickly. A little water everyday for every poinsettia. They are sort of labor intensive, because you need to give them just enough water to be slightly damp. Especially if you live in a desert region.

Oh you need to take a road trip to the Madonna Inn for sure. It is your heart’s delight. It’s like walking through the frosting on a cake. It’s like a bomb went off in a bordello and the reds, pinks, roses, velvets and candlelight gently drifted down and settled all over the walls and floors and furniture. It’s fabulous, kitschy, tacky, luscious and breathtaking. It’s a rose garden themed Fantasyland and you’ll never want to leave. Btw, the tassels are genius.

My grandma lived by the Madonna Inn and she collected those goblets in deep red and then my mom got the wine glasses in every color. Now I have them! They bring such sweet memories of all of us going to the inn for lunch and all the laughter.

Check to see if it’s too moist. Sometimes the wrapping that is used makes water puddle on the bottom of the plant. Poinsettias don’t need a lot of watering
Beautiful! I visited my thrift store by my house. My daughter wanted animal ornaments for her tree. I found her some and went to check out. The minimum was $7.00 to use a credit card so I looked on the shelf behind me and what did I find? A vintage rose bowl! My $4.00 bowl was all I needed too! I came home and styled grocery store flowers in it. Love, Love, Love your inspiration.
