Simple. Elegant.
Thank you! That’s what I was going for 🤌🏼
I love these bench designs. If you ever get those plans worked out I’ll be first in line
Hell yeah! I appreciate you checking in about it! It’s still on My list of things to do 😂😂
I'm assuming you get everything finished out in the rubio before assembling to make it easier in the end. Very nice design. I've been looking for something simple and I think this will work out perfectly for me. Thanks
Yeah I like to pre finish as much as I can whenever I’m building. I hate trying to get finish in all the little corners. Hope you have a fun time building it!
Beautiful! Did you apply glue where the stretcher piece meets the legs, or did you only apply it at the legs?
I did apply a little bit of glue there. But honestly I don’t know if it will make much of a difference overall. That stretcher is t coming out.
Beautiful. Did you make that router jig you use at 1:12?
I sure did! I looked up adjustable dado jigs and copied one that worked for my project.
Ya I just found one from the wood whisperer that looks similar. Def gonna try and make it.
Nice! They are so convenient. Just make sure you account for sanding. Doing them before you cans can cause the joint to be a little looser. Especially if it’s a softer wood
How much was the total material cost?
I don’t remember exactly. I used three 6/4 boards of white oak for the build. So depending on your location will also depend on the price.
