My wife and I just bought a 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport SL AWD and love it. For our driving purposes we are not really feeling the need to have a turbo engine. It drives very nice for its class level and price range. It is roomy. With leather seats, an abundance of safety features and a host of conveniences that comes with the SL, we are happy with our choice.

Have always liked these. 2 things: didn’t know there was a redesign for these next year and surprised this won’t be reskinned as the next Outlander Sport considering the Mitsubishi/ Nissan alliance?

The Outlander Sport will be smaller thsn the Rogue Sport as it will be related to the smaller Juke sold in other markets

the prices listed are way lower than what you will pay for it. dealers are charging about 10% over msrp and even storage fees. add everything else you add about 10k. also with a smaller engine it won't even be able to get out of it's own way.

The 2.0NA with the CVT is really wimpy. Not sure if will be any different for the 2023 version. I would hold out until they up the power, or just move on to another vehicle. Wait, I did, and bought a CX-30 from Mazda.

Haha I'd probably go that route as well between the two 😁

@@goldpony Too bad Nissan can't figure out the opportunity for the Rogue Sport. I have heard that they use 3 cyl turbo engine for it in Europe. The 2.0NA is really vanilla ice cream we get in the US.

They look so cheap, but I do see a lot of them where I live. I have a 2019 Lincoln MKC Reserve and it is one of the best SUVs on the road. I have the 2.3 Turbo and it really gets up and goes when needed. Was going to get a 2022 but the prices are totally out of wack. Will wait until 2023 to see what happens to pricing!!! By the way, I love your car review

Let's be honest, just like the Forester, this vehicle is underpowered. Needs another engine option.

Yeah but it is cheaper than the Forrester

I will wait for the 2023 model and hope for a 160 HP power bump so it can actually compete with the others - Corolla Cross, HRV, Niro, Seltos. Nissan is joke selling at similar pricing of the competitor but with the lowest HP.
