gold dynamo's been in the promotional footage since the game first got revealed, it was in the game's files and the game's cover and yet they refused to add it in the game until now. it's more of the fact that it's finally here than anything else. also, the 2 new stages are hands down the best maps that originated from splatoon 3, it's like they finally remembered inkable walls and alternate routes exist
The Heavy Edit's gimmick is that the longer you charge it, the faster and further it fires. When fully charged, it has one of the fastest kill times in the game at a pretty decent range.
It crazy how many kills it get and here we thought that the hydra splatling has the high kill rate of any weapon in splatoon when splatling involved at least
The Nautilus and Heavy Edit Splatling have similar fire rates, but they're not the same. The Nautilus fires 15 times per second (taking 0.27 seconds to kill), but at max charge the Heavy Edit fires 20 times per second (taking 0.2 seconds to kill - which is INSANELY fast).
Hot take Drizzle season is the best season we've had so far the new maps are really good, the new weapons are fun, the Splatfest looks fun 80 new banners, 400 new titles, and over 300 new locker decorations!
ive already got a good handle with the heavy edit, and there is a difference. The lower your charge rate is, the less range the shots have. If you fully charge it, it has higher fire rate and higher range. You need to be at a good distance from the enemy and aim (duh) to be able to use it properly. you also havw curling bombs as a getaway.
At 3:06, that's me and my friends! I'm Tozxrvo on that team ahah. We were really excited to see you in game. Glad to see you enjoying the new stuff too. The Heavy edit has different firing speeds per charge level and fires way faster than Nautilus at top charge so. It can kill wicked fast. Team Frye also, sorry, she already literally commands an army of eels. Edit: adjusted time stamp
I was on team Frye (ggs lol, we tried but I knew deep down that Shiver was the safe option and lo and behold, she was the safe option.) My logic was this: Frye, in story mode, is debatably the strongest. I know some of you will disagree, but I'll explain why I think this. She throws her bomb correctly, her eels were scared by it, though, botching her escape, while Big Man's malfunctioned and Shiver simply mishandled hers. Her fight has a COUNTER to your splashdown, pushing you off the ring if you use it at the wrong time, her eels could stretch to SPACE, her entire clan studies eels and eel taming pretty much their whole lives, making her a professional at what she does, as is Shiver, she has multiple commanding voice lines in Alterna and on the air, usually in a loud and boisterous tone (yes, I am aware that Shiver has her own form of a commanding voice, and Big Man has his times where he gets affirmative), and, like the rest of Deep Cut, she always has her team's back, no matter what. All in all, that makes a pretty damn fine leader to me.
@@sapphiresplashThank you. We got heavily robbed from that splatfest and if anyone played story mode it was obvious that Frye was both the supporter and in the lead. She is the middle man after all lol
People are excited for gold dynamo for 2 reasons 1. Nintendo teased it since the first trailer for the game 2. A specific character from the Splatoon manga uses the weapon
Something that would potentially be really cool is if they brought back moray towers, but they put a little spin on it: you have multiple levels that allow for some crazy flanks.
I’ve been using the Gold Dynamo since I got it back in Splatoon 1. Splatoon 2 it was added in an update around a year into the game. Splatoon 3 I expected it to take a little bit of time for it to come out, but the fact that it’s on the box, in the first trailer, and was in the game files for so long, it was frustrating that it wasn’t playable. (I was also hoping it would get Triple Inkstrike, as a reference to the Inkstrike it had in Splatoon 1, but oh well.)
I'm picking my splatfest team according to the theme "who would be the best leader" not by who's my favorite, i picked Big Man because i feel like Shiver would threaten her team and Frye would work them to exaustion but big man is the chillest of the group
Shiver feels like a psycho, and Frye is a ditz. Big Man seems like the only one who has a level head on his shoulders, or he would if he had shoulders or a head.
I assume the splatfest may have something to do with the DLC, since we always have the last splatfest determine something happening story-wise, but since the DLC isn't out yet, it may end up influencing something in it. idk just my speculation
The fact that people were dunking on this season just because of the catalogue is so funny to me. It’s arguably the best update we’ve gotten thus far, at least in my opinion, and I couldn’t be happier. These new maps made me fall in love with Splatoon all over again
It's been one year since this video and ...your not completely wrong...in a way we got squid sisters v off the hook v deep cut so yeah great job guessing the final fest😅
Just so you know, heavy edit has an average fire rate on partial charge, but it fires at an extremely fast rate on full charge, meaning it has a much faster kill time than naut Also pretty sure it has better mobility when moving while charging but don't quote me on that
i thought crableg capital was saltspray rig when watching the trailer tbh i really like the new maps though! they feel very similar but i liked them nonetheless
I always watch Jay play a weapon before I ever do bc he reacts the most like I do to things and if he's having fun I'll likely enjoy it, too! So i also have him on in the background while I'm playing :]
I don't know if you noticed it but, some shirts can be adjusted as well as oversized shirts!! Vice versa with the oversized clothes :) I love your videos btw!!

It aslo paints more than naut by a wide margin, so it can play more supportively
also it walks like crazy fast, pretty sure faster than most splatlings with run speed
I like it way more then the ballpoint splatling, it doesn't do the stupid short to long range thing that ballpoints love doing
