A great tutorial, if I may offer a suggestion, use the blunt end of the skewer to push the hilly weed in, it is much easier. I followed this tutorial, but used seaweed. Looked awesome. Thank you for sharing
I'm almost done with wtaching your potion videos and this one is one of my fav. The green is beautiful! (well, it's ma fav color so I might be biased here :D) Also love the bottles you're using. This one is so pretty, I love it (my fav is the round one - from the unicorn blood and the one from the squid ink). You always same "pick the bottle of your choice" as if the size and shape don't matter and everytime I find myself thinking: this was the perfect shape for this potion, another one wouldn't have looked so good! :D It really makes me want to try to do a few... mabe once my printer works again? You're doing lots of "liquid" potion, I'd love to see you do some more "solid" ingredient ones, like "dragon claws/teeth" "something bones" (probably powered) or something. i'd be curious to see what you would use. (So far I'm only thikning about making fake teeth from fimo clay but I'm sure you'd be able to think about something better and even more easy to use as imitation.
You have a great talent & are very creative in making these HP props & potions. Since you have a decent following here on youtube have you considered making your own Etsy account to sell these potions/props on the side as small business? I personally would love to buy some from you considering your level of craftsmanship & the cool looking bottles you choose! ;) I feel many of your followers like myself admire your work but may not have the time to make it themselves & have it look this professional. It's clear you've been doing this for awhile which is why you make it look so easy but your knots & materials you choose are so great! You have a good eye. Keep up the great work & I hope you consider!
meedy92 Thank you, you are making me blush 😊! I have considered an etsy store, I'm still deciding whether I want to do that. I appreciate the support and thanks for watching! ❤️
No problem, I'm just speaking the truth! I truly hope you do follow through with it because I'll be one of your first customers. ;) It'll be awesome cause you can do custom orders too from time to time; & hearing their suggestions thus invigorating your creative ideas. HP has such a huge fan base there's no doubt you'll be success. Having an etsy account may in fact increase your recognition and fan base on youtube too so it's a win/win. I just subscribed to your channel. I'm passing your channel on to my friends. Looking forward to seeing more magical creations from you!
@@meedy92 i agree with you, and she could always sell all the ingredients ( with the exception of of the dish liquid) and the same type of bottle so whoever wants to can put it all together themselves.
@@CookingandCraftChick You should start your own shop , you definitely have the talent . I would start your own website/shop it's easier than you think and Etsy has started to cost so much for sellers and postage now, it makes it more worth while having your own store.
You all probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
did anyone else think at 0:41 that you could get some arcrylic paint and pant it like a strawberry cuz it looked exactly like a strawberry i know im wierd i notice things like that
Binge watching all your potion videos!! I’ve already made floo powder, unicorn hair, draught of living death, skele-grow, veritaserum, mermaid tears and dragons blood!!!!!!
I followed the link to get the label for this project and I couldn't find it. I think there may be a few missing labels from some of your other projects too. Where could I find these? Thank you for the great project ideas!
MisterKnitter cookingandcraftchi.wixsite.com/mysite/single-post/2017/01/26/Potion-Label-Sheet here is the direct link for this. All of the labels are on my site you just may have to go through the pages to find them. Especially if they’re older videos. 😊
Lesley Tacy click here: cookingandcraftchi.wixsite.com/mysite/single-post/2017/01/26/Potion-Label-Sheet It will take you to a bulk sheet that Gillyweed is on. I hope that helps thanks for watching!
+franz bott I'm not sure how many ml the bottles hold but this one is 5-6" tall. I get most of my bottles from Michael's craft store, Hobby Lobby, or Pat Catan's craft store. Amazon carries most bottles as well. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
Gillyweed is not a potion, but the idea is great! Also, you should add some fake worms, as it is described in the book it's a ball of slimy worms that is little enough for Harry to shove in his mouth in one mouthful.
True it's not a potion per say but I think you would store it with your potions, and it has powers like a potion. Thank you for the worm suggestion, if I ever remake Gillyweed I will add some. :)
+Amanda Kaufman I'm not sure if you would see a difference between slime and green dish soap with the other add ins. I purchased the dish soap at the dollar store. If you already have slime try it. 👍😄
Cooking and Craft Chick I do actually I got some Halloween Walmart brand 99 cent slime and it's the best slime in the world it feels like cold water or liquid flowing in your hands because it's so light and feels just like liquid but applying some pressure and grabbing it then it becomes a little stiffer but still so squishy
I get my labels by just googling "_________potion bottle labels" (exp: Amortentia potion bottle labels) and go to images you can find hundreds of free images. If you google "Harry Potter potion labels" or the specific label you are looking for they pop up. Once I find the label I like I save it and size it in any editing program. I would put a link to the label sheet I used but they are not my images and I don't want to get flagged. Thanks for watching!

All the potion designs are sooo cool. Also because of your videos I found a new hobby...making potions thank you for that.

I like the look of the moss in there. This looks pretty cool 👍

I finally made it! Your directions were so clear, and I think it looks almost as good as yours. Thank you!! 😁

To anyone hating that it's not a potion it still looks really cool either way haha

I clicked the link on here for the label. They are all amazing labels, but the one for the gillyweed seems to be missing :(

Hey ! Really great job ! Where do you find this amazing glass bottle ?
+Lucie Bonzom Pat Catans craft store. It was under a $1!
