The included instructions stated "remove blade safe cover if necessary" but I thought the blade was inside behind the roller, so thank you for pointing out what should have been more obvious. If I were Tape King, I'd print "REMOVE BEFORE USING" on the blue blade cover and make the blade cover RED so it doesn't blend in with the rest of the branding. And yes, I usually check to make sure devices are plugged in before trouble shooting LOL.
Adjusting the tension made all the difference in the world for our usage. It worked perfect after dialing that in.

Got a scotch tape gun and the plastic tongue hides the blad until pressed. The problem is it doesn't push the blade out far enough :/
