They have been doing more thematic shows, I cooperated backwards marching, more pictures instead of step two type drills, standing still while playing... having the drill match what's going on with the music. If you need more detailed clarification with timestamps let me know and I'll be more than happy to prepare something for your edification.

Man, I truly loved this show, music and all except for that pitiful Jsettes feature song, “New Attitude.” I don’t know who keep picking these pitiful songs for the Jsettes to dance to. I mean most of last season songs were pathetic and so is this, “New Attitude” song. Other than the song, the Jsettes field routine was truly amazing as usual. Well done JSU. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
My one request is that the designs would allow WT to be seen better since they are the only movement on a large portion of the show. Other than that, it was great.
They must have a hell ava trombone section this year I see that the arrangements cater to the strengths of the trombone section. No need for negative comments, these are Students/musicians attending an HBCU. I attended Alcorn and MVSU but love them all. Our young people could be doing what we see others doing (nothing) so let's support the positives.

As an SU jag, I'm happy JSU finally went out and developed their own damn style! The booms entire existence can't be challenging southern every year! We have our own style and Legacy.. go argue with your mama lol

We are SO glad they decided to work on their sound. It was about time they stopped sounding like a beginning band. They've definitely taken some elements from MEAC bands. Kudos!
The J-Settes routine was a hot mess, from the rolling around on the ground to the song selection. The key to a great routine is the song selection. In the choreography category, the J-Settes desperately need help. I give this routine two thumbs down.

JSU is redefining what it is to be a traditional SWAC band. They added some MEAC/corps style elements in there without sacrificing who they are.
