Are you using pro most filters. I had an fx3 and could never got a soft look like this. I was using a 1/4 but the bloom I found was too much
Yeah I use the Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4 Strength and 1/8 depending on the lens. I use 1/4 on my 24-70 and 1/8 on my prime lenses.
What's really important to get cinematic shots (in my opinion) is: use medium shots and medium full shots and ad some close ups. For this use 50mm and 85mm focal length.At least: don't ad to much full shots in your video.

You don’t use the aperture at 2.8 ?
I do but I also use prime lenses as well. 1.4 and 2.8 is where I usually stay throughout the day
