  • The Vineyard House at The Landing is a unique residence that stands out for its integration with the natural landscape. Located on a thousand-acre property with vineyards and several homes, this house, the newest one, demonstrates that luxury can be achieved without the need for grand scale. With an area of 230 square meters, this house is an impressive example of how simplicity can be truly spectacular.
As you approach the house, you are immediately greeted by a long stone wall that leads to the entrance hall, providing a spectacular view of the hills, valleys, and the sea in the distance. The design team used thousands of basalt rocks excavated from the nearby earth to create the structural backbone of the house, an action that not only incorporated nature into the house but also gave the structure solid authenticity.
The roof structure, a large cantilevered slab supported by the stone wall, keeps you connected to the land. The house opens up to a spacious living area where huge sliding glass panels retract completely, transforming the space into a vast outdoor terrace.
The magic of this house lies in how it balances outdoor living and the privacy of the bedrooms. While the living areas are expansive and open, the bedrooms are more secluded in a simple block of blackened wood on the opposite side of the stone wall, almost like a separate cabin. The 360-degree view provided by the Vineyard Residence is breathtaking, and each room, including the bathroom, enjoys its own unique view.
The house is an example of how architecture can seamlessly blend with the surrounding nature. The stone wall, made of rocks extracted from the property itself, is the central element from which the house is composed.
