No need to go for any degree for this .First make yourself familiar with basic computer fundamentals .Then learn any one programming language : python or java ...Python is recommended .Then master statistics and math .Then go for the rest .Rest is a huge list .You better search for ai ml roadmap on youtube ....
Get some basic law background education. Then focus on AI related legal compliance, which is a huge domain. But you still will have to know what constitutes an AI System and how AI System works. Make one of the LLMs your friend. Before asking any question on AI, try to assemble a lot of connected info on AI, read like a mad man, you may even cry not able to understand many terms, but keep reading, keep reading, and I am sure you may start appreciating the connectivity slowly, but surely. If you have some decent grip in Algebra, and a few related Maths discipline, get into learning Python, and I am sure you will find yourself swimming in AI Pool, at least at 4 feet depth soon. Much will depend on your tenacity to keep learning, failing to understand the components of AI, and feeling tired, now and then. If you overcome this phase, you will achieve something for sure in AI profession. You will need some strong Mathematical background, if you are geeting into Neural Networks,, which is the heart of AI.
