We are back with the McConnell family today and the vicarage! We finish of the exterior in this part, I'll be back next week with the interior! ENJOY!

Build ideas; I think a community board at the front would make sense for his job role/ church outreach awareness, a lot of churches offer counselling services (my church actually offers none faith based) so it would be nice if the office had some comfy seating options, a lot of food banks are actually ran out of churches nowadays so I think a food box on the wall would be a neat feature.
Also desperate to see who Bob and Fanny end up related to. Down for Fanny all up in the vicarage
that is a wonderful idea! I feel a lot of churches, or community houses/centers have those out front
Absolutely love all the TOOL mod use in this "season" of lets build the worlds, really makes me wish we could do all of that without needing a whole mod for it

Another beautiful build! Maybe you could put the door to the study in the front hall. That way when parishioners come to see Father Matthew, the family doesn't have them nosing through the house.
You should do a TOOL tutorial on how you move things off the lot and into the world so easily. The whole X,Y axis thing confuses the heck out of me.
Yes that would be brilliant..l have trouble using and would like to know how you was moving things gradually
@@gillclark Hi there, T.O.O.L. user here: You just hold alt + click on the ground after clicking on the object you want to move. It will slowly drag it into that direction. If you want to move it in bigger increments, you click on a spot further away from the object and if you want the increments to be smaller, click closer to the object. It takes some practice, but you will get better at it rather quickly, and it's so useful!
If you want to move your object to a specific new spot immediately, you click in the object and then on any spot on the ground and the "centre" of the object will be there. (Whatever is the "centre" will depend on the game's definition of it; you can easily find out the centre of an object by rotating it in game, since it will always rotate around its defined centre - which does not have to be the "middle" of the object!)

I could imagine that there are bikes for everyone in front and maybe a pin board for the church community for his little church group. And I could see the new pergola from one of the new kits in a public park or something, both packs look really European.
Here in the US, it's common for churches that are LGBTQ+ affirming/accepting to have some kind of pride signage outside. I think the McConnell's might fly a pride flag outside since it's their home :)

The two tiles that you couldn''t put down in the front is because of the walls you''ve placed in the front. It is a thing with the TOOL mod and the object on the edge of the lot. Just in the future move the piece away and put it back after placing the flooring.

I watch a guy called MrBallen. Ex Navy Seal turner true crime storyteller. He does videos and podcasts in true crime and I personally really love the way he tells his stories 👍

Love the tree out front, but I was really hoping you’d size it up just a smidge. Makes it look like it’s been there longer and a bit different from that same tree that’s nearby.

You have to plant stuff in the planters while they're on the lot, before you move them out with the T.O.O.L. mod, otherwise they become unusable for the sims. I discovered this with lots of swearing ;p

That exterior turned out absolutely perfect, and with great effort. The game was being a pain. That accent on the roof you added is beautiful. Have a great trip, talk to the trees!

I’m happy you are going through that. I thought I was the only one and it was because of my mods! Objects and stuff started to disappear and I couldn’t place them anymore. I had them on my cursor and they would disappear and I couldn’t place them. The only way I succeeded in working on my house again was with leaving the building mode with my family and go to build mode through the terrain directly. The glitch stopped.

Jaffa cakes are fascinating. I tried them when I was on holiday in London. I wasn’t very impressed, but I just couldn’t stop eating them. I still crave them from time to time too. The Netherlands doesn’t have anything similar sadly.
Totally feeling a bicycle over by the bulbous bush, maybe even half in the bush like it's been kinda dumped in a hurry. I could see her as using a bike so she can have a bit of independence but also for sneaking out and getting around at night, then dumping in down in a hurry when she's trying to rush back inside in the morning without being seen
I would be so interested in maybe a Q & A about your thoughts on Paralives, and Life by You. As for you as an artist, you're very much like me in terms of decor and style and you have great comedy moments! "Tickle my t*ts" got me.

Shaun Attwood interviewed a female prison officer who worked for some of the UKs most notorious prisons and knew Rose West. A really interesting podcast. I don't know what else he does but this one was really good and interesting. I was glued and I'm not a fan of stories about prisons ordinarily. Hope this helps. I don't listen/watch to podcasts much but I thought I'd mention a couple I do. Mr Ballen's videos are very good 😁 👍
watching your builds are so magical, no matter the style of the build. And every style you always put research into it and I can feel it's as close to reality as you can but still have the simplicity of sims style that also fits with the gameplay (because personally I don't really like hyper realistic build for the sims as it is often not always compatible with gameplay and don't really embrace 'the sims style', it is hard to explain :p). I really enjoy watching your videos and your creative process, thank you for sharing your art
Maybe the vicor could be skilled in carpentry. He was inspired by a popular carpenter with a very well-known Father 😉

In Poland Delicje come in cherry, raspberry, berry, apricot and orange flavor! There are many to choose from and they are kind of our national cookies😂 I love them and I always have them at home. Many of my friends even said they are better than Jaffa cakes which I’m not sure about cause they are made by the same producer but oh well… Now I’m hungry 😋

Love how this is blended into the garden. How would the roof trim from For Rent look on the two roof pieces jutting out at the front? Not sure what tte colours and paterns are but they may give something like the fancy detail on one of the references you had ❤

My son brought home a packet of Jaffa cakes the other week. ( from the international shelf here in NZ, so very expensive) I couldn’t help myself, and bit it in half like the teacher in the advert, nearly choking on it laughing while saying half moon, total eclipse. Luckily my 29 yr old son knew what I was doing and didn’t ring up the funny farm.
I discovered your channel recently and have been watching the old willow creek build the worlds. I miss the intros with just your face! It’s like you’re sitting down with me to say hello before getting into the game. Thank you for the very entertaining sims 4 content.

Full moooon… half moon…. TOTAL ECLIPSE. Middle school, late 90s/early 2000s. Every lunch time for around 6 month, everyone had them in that plastic orange pot that your mum could buy packs of, and every child would do this advert routine. I’m shocked it’s not been brought back as an advert for the next generation, it was genius marketing 🤣.
Also the flooring issue at the front was because of the tree. You had the tree there originally and so, when placing the floor, the game wanted to delete the tree but couldn’t find it.
Please do a church across from the vicarage
I never put railings on my stairs if they are by the walls. If I want railings I keep the stairs away from walls and find clever ways to use them as separations instead... gotta´ love EA, huh?
I've been seeing those white lines on walls around windows in build mode too
I had my first job as a teenager, and my mother called my work. She asked to speak to "Fanny Adams" and they put her through to my extension. To put it in perspective, I worked in a huge building (Abbey National) with around 1800 people working there, and they managed to put her through to me. How the actual f***?

Ever since the last Sims 4 update, I have so many bugs in my game that it's almost unplayable.
Don't think we didn't notice when you changed that roof height so it wouldn't have the texture glitch with the straight line...
Edit: Since you are part of the creator network, do you have a code that i can use at checkout to give you 5% of the sale like other creators? I tried to find one yesterday when i bought the kits but couldn't.
