Can't wait to see more analysis on Breaking Bad. Your coverage of Better Call Saul gave a deeper appreciation for the show. So I got high hopes for this one!

Great analysis of one of the best TV characters ever. It's not a coincidence that Walter White's character is influenced by Tony Soprano in The Sopranos (according to the writter of the show), the best TV show ever in my opinion.

Walter speaks to what all men want. Love.
    Respect.
And a certain amount of fear from those outside of our family unit.

Brilliant idea to analyse BB one episode after the other! Pointing out layers one hasn't noticed, but that make the series even better.
For one, I never noticed the colour scheme for the characters... and now I can't unsee it. 😁
...and what a good way for us to skip the maddening (but sadly quite realistic) Skyler scenes and nonsensical plot drags (oooh amnesia!! oooh look at the pizza on the roof!!).
(Although, Better Call Saul is the much better series. I'll die on that hill.)

Yeah, you got a point there imho.
Well made series? Absolutely. Profound and groundbreaking? Erm... "Let's end by introducing nazis and mowing them down with an M60! Because why not!"
Then again, at least it's no Lost. 😉
