nice track, but sadly not breakcore if you really want to get the breakcore sound you need to utilize *distorted* drum breaks, and drum breaks that also arent primarly the amen break (e.g sesame street break, kool is back break, do the do break) its also a good idea to experiment with timestretching and pitch shifters as well. also use *gabber kicks,* if you dont use gabber kicks its not breakcore. tempo-wise, 180-245 bpm is a good range (but 200-240 is best imo) dont get me wrong this is rocks my balls track but not breakcore
I mean, not necessarily. Ruby My Dear, Stazma and Vsnares often don't use distorted sounds and gabber kicks and they're considered masters at breakcore. What you say mostly just applies to old-school breakcore.
@@silverkip2992 lets just say breakcore isnt beakcore, too much crap is considered breakcore these days, you could listen to speedcore, someone could hear an amen break in it and probably say its breakcore
i disagree. the entirety of detrimentalist falls within the 160-190BPM range, and that album is the benchmark i use to determine real or fake breakcore. these breaks also aren't all just amen breaks, like you said. not all vsnares tracks have gabber kicks, and not all vsnares tracks have the mixing and timestretching that you are referencing. if you're looking for a more oldschool breakcore, you'd enjoy this song. this tastes like if the letter q turned into a vegetable and then turned into a square named ted who has a wife and 3 kids. But actually his life is a lie and so he goes to coloumbia
@vermin.mp4 she makes more ambient / liquid dnb than breakcore, so if people like that then good for them, they just need to know it. is. not. breakcore.
ah, genre specifics. jungle/breakcore/footwork/dnb/whatever other genres are super hard to differentiate between and the fans are always super elitist about what makes a song "their genre." i can tell you for sure that this isnt breakcore though.

@@vermin.mp4 detrimentalist is just jungle m8
You know it’s real when bro uses the spacebar instead of actually clicking the play button.
How the fuck does that even determine if it's real or not?

prolly bc all other 16 year olds dunno what breakcore is or only listen to sewerslvt
i wouldn't say that sewerslvt has never made a real breakcore song, but i hate her music regardless.

Ahhh, i can only wish to make something like this
i see you got some stuff going on
good shit
also im sorry to be the nerd, but breakcore usually starts at around 200+ bpm. but this doesnt change the fact that your music is great.
@@2we1rd dang i guess the entirety of Detrimentalist by Venetian Snares is not breakcore and is just... uh...
Genuinely stupid question but, what's the difference between breakcore and DnB?
breakcore has odd time signatures, a faster bpm, incoherent and weird melodies, listen to venetian snares if you want to understand breakcore better
