Clearest instruction of the many videos I've watched. Step 1: break the seal on row 3. NOBODY stated the first step that clearly.

Great video man. And concise and simple. I watched quite a few and YOUR is THE best, and easy to follow. Getting a tab broken every so often by wind. Wish ya'll were up in Fort Worth. We need good roofers. Thanks!

what if the broken row is right at the eaves trough. will this type of repair work or is there more steps needed?

Good question! If that's the case then all you have to do is carefully remove the needed roofing nails along the ridge/eave line without tearing the shingles to prevent you from having to replace them. This way you can get to the wind damage shingles below the ridge line.

What is the name of the sealant you used to cover the older nail holes and where can I buy it? Thank you for the very informative video!

It's called Roofers Choice from Home Depot. ~$2 per tube.
