El Debarge and George Michael both performed at the Apollo during the Motown special. They were both so young at the time. So fitting that El was the one to do this wonderful tribute to his musical colleague.

It was Truly a Celebration! His love for All music. He sang Everything. This man's voice was so versatile. He is Truly missed. I know this is a tribute and not an El song. But people seem to keep forgetting he was a teenager when he wrote most of his songs. That he also produced his own music. So mature, deep, the musical arrangements and instrumentation. A true genius and gift. All still classics and still meaningful to this day.
