Russia lost 2-3 months of ammunition due to strike on ammunition depot in Toropets
Estonian Defense Forces' intelligence center anticipates consequences of the lost ammunition on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The attack by Ukrainian drones on a missile depot in the Russian city of Toropets on September 18 will lead to consequences on the front of Russia's war against Ukraine, which will be noticeable in the coming weeks.
This was stated by the head of the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces, Colonel Ants Kiviselg. He noted that the Ukrainian defenders struck the warehouse at a time when some of the Russian ammunition had not yet been placed in the bunkers. Therefore, a chain of explosions occurred. Kiviselg recalled that 30,000 tons of ammunition exploded, that is, about 750,000 shells. According to him, Russia produces 10,000 shells a week. “That is, it is a two-three month supply of ammunition. As a result of this attack, Russia suffered losses in ammunition, and we will see the consequences of this loss on the front in the coming weeks”, he said. On September 18, drones of the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully attacked the arsenal of the main missile and artillery department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Toropka, Tver region. As noted, the warehouses stored missiles for operational-tactical complexes "Iskander", tactical missile complexes "Tochka-U", anti-aircraft missiles and artillery ammunition.

Since depleting their labor force to supply troops to the front lines, they have had a hard time simply maintaining their buildings, infrastructure, and vital services.
It's a whole lot easier to maintain a building than to repair or replace it after an attack.
It's not very likely these bunkers will be rebuilt. If they are it will be the lowest quality of inferior workmanship. They just don't have the skilled manpower anymore.

The math isnt mathing. If Russia produces 10,000 shells a week, and 750k were destroyed, thats almost a year and a halfs worth of ammunition. Now, if you are talking about ammunition USED vs PRODUCED, thats different. But I am assuming since the "production" measurement was given, thats probably what the basis was coming off of. If Russia produces 100,000 rounds a week, then it would be a 2 month supply. I am just curious if I am correct in this assessment or if there is another logical approach to how the 2-3 months supply was calculated?

Your math is off: if russia produces 10.000 shells a week, that makes 40.000 per month or 480.000 per year. So if Ukraine destroyed 750.000 shells, that means about one and a half year. I stop watching this channel
