This show is pure perfection. The material reminds us how shows of the past 50 years just don't compare to previous generations of writing Broadway shows. This cast, in particular was so beautifully well cast that it seems a shame to not have recorded the entire show for future generations to enjoy. The more recent production with Levi and Benanti was also superb but the 1993 endeavor is without rival. I saw this production and was blown away by the material, cast, musicians and stagecraft. Thank you so very much for sharing this treasured memory with me. Very, very few shows live up to this standard. To anyone still alive who participated in this production, please accept my belated gratitude for your collective talents. Bravo!
Thank you for sharing this! I was so lucky to have seen it back in 1993/94 - my dear parents having bought a ticket for me because they thought it was so charming (and indeed it was)! But this is a treasure to have on a recording.

Howard was so perfect for this role as well as Sally, everyone was wonderful. I saw Diane in the reopening instead of Judy.
