The power amplifier circuit has been widely used in every electronic device that processes sound. Ampifier which means "amplifier" means to amplify sound input. Voice input can come from radio waves, microphones or digital files that are converted into analog signals.
Power amplifiers are built using passive and active electronic components. In ancient times, electronics hobbyists used vacuum tubes or vacuum tubes as the main amplifier component. The drawback is that the power that the vacuum tube can provide is not large. To produce large power, it takes a lot of vacuum tubes that are installed in parallel.
Transistors that developed later allowed greater output power to be produced, but with a smaller Printed Circuit Board (PCB) size. The growing era of the use of Integrated Circuit or IC is increasingly widespread so that it shifts the use of transistors.
One IC that is often used is the TDA IC. In this power amplifier, the IC used is IC TDA 2030.
IC TDA 2030 has a relatively small power but with a fairly reliable sound quality. The input voltage on the IC can be given at 12V so that it can be installed on a car without the help of a boost converter.
Features of TDA 2030
1. Low-frequency class AB amplifiers are best suited for audio amplification
2. Can supply up to 20 Watts as output power
3. Input voltage between 6V to 36V (can be used for car amps)
4. There is thermal and short circuit protection
5. Easy to assemble

It's a 2x8 w amplifier with 1.5 amps max based on a data sheet of the amplifier discribed.
It's perfect using it just for the tweeters to compensate for the missing highs in the Bose wave radio but has purchased a suitable power supply the sound is clean . Will do a spectrum analysis on it late this month to check the S/N ratio and the THD. But until now, the sound is super clear. It all depends on the power supply you put on it. A band power supply will surely affect the sound quality in terms of humming and noise.

I just bought one of these to go with 2x20 watt Hitachi speakers and a 12v 2amp power unit. Do you think it will work ok with that set up? Thanks

That tda7057 chip is no where near the 20w per channel that the box claims the amp outputs.
I have one and it sounds fine for the price. But dont expect miracles
yes I totally agree with your opinion, indeed many people will have too many expectations but after you try this power amplifier it is only suitable in small rooms

Bridge mode would make this a decent, very cheap mono amp for sub or guitar.

is this amplifier reliable? as in it wont catch fire? just need something small for use in an arcade cabinet.
according to my experience after using this power amplifier, this amplifier is only ideal for use on 2 speakers with a size of 4 inches only
and if you want a simple reliable power amplifier for cars, I suggest using a TDA 3116D2 amplifier, I still use this amplifier for my truck, here is the video link if you want to see it

Does the amplifier you have have the same supply voltage as this amplifier? if so then this amplifier can be used

yes of course because the heatsink is the body of the power amplifier
hello can this run 120watt 6 ohms full range speakers shopee listing says its 200w+200w maximum output wont this just catch on fire if put that kind of load lmao

Mau tanya lagi gan, ada yg bilang katanya ampli ini harus pake adaptor 12v 5A biar dpt kemampuan max nya sesuai spesifikasi (2x20W RMS). berarti kalau pakai yg 12v 2A dapat berapa watt RMS?
Dari pernyataan yang ada buat maka kalau pakai suplai 12V 2A maka kemampuan mini amplifier ini adalah ( 2x8W RMS )

I think this mini power amplifier is capable of handling 8in speakers, but we have to use a good power supply, for example I use a car

@@MujikoProject too much emphasis on the middle tones, so i removed the caps responsible, also the tda7297 will double output power with NO change to the circuit - its a direct replacement to 15W / channel, as opposed to 7w/channel
