You need to learn some technical audio terms and their meanings as the word strange really doesn't cut it for me trying to get a real comparison. The Kinter might sound better on another brand of speaker. Did you increase the bass control on the Kinter to get a real idea of its abilities in the lower frequencies.What is the price difference between the two units? How much did the black amp cost. I run that little Kinter into two Dayton audio bookshelf speakers plus a 12 inch passive subwoofer and it sounds great. I might put more credence into your reviews if you really knew your subject but at present you don't. Study audio and then I will look forward to seeing your new improved videos. Thank you.
I had the 500w Kinter amp on my 750 Yamaha to power 4" speaker pods I had mounted on my handlebars. I used it to listen to a cheap MP3 player I had. It actually sounded pretty good and I was able to hear it riding on the highway a 70 MPH. I think they work just fine for what I needed it to do. I hah it mounted to the frame, under the gas tank so it was hard to see and kept protected from the rain. I did get it wet a few times and it still worked just fine. I later wrapped in a Ziplock bag just incase I got caught in the rain again.

Great review. So I have a question and I want some help please. I have a bartop built from a friend 10 years ago.The speakers it has on it say "2 way 4", 200W max 40hm". Will Lepy LP 2020A do the job for them ?
Generally speaking, it's better to have speakers rated higher than the amplifier as nothing can go badly wrong there - If the speaker wattage is the same or less than the amplifier, you risk overloading or even blowing the speakers as the amp reaches a peak...
I would gut both of these and upgrade them with a better board and wire the the volume pots. I still give all your videos a like unlike some of these bums.
I build guitar pedals and do guitar and tube amplifier mods....A LOT.....but I've never modified a solid state amp like this. I imagine it's not very different. I'll go do a search later but what would you recommend for the chip and output cap values?

Okay I just received the Lepy after using the Kinter. It's a night and day difference! I was worried that the new speaker I got sounded bad. I plugged in the Leppy and it sounds like a totally different speaker! I prefer using the tone so far but it seems to lower the volume which is fine because it has plenty of volume for me. Direct sounds awesome too though! I'm gonna put the kinter into my Bartop arcade.

If it's only 20 watts total your only getting 10watts a side. So yes technically they would be considerably underpowered. But you dont always need full power. If your an audiophile you'll use your nicer speakers with a nice tube amp and use these crappy solid state amps firt your older bookshelf speakers in the garage lol.
