Yes! Amen, sister. I'm so sad but only for me - those of us who are left to continue wrestling without pastor Tim to help us. But, for him, I'm overjoyed. What he has known in part he now knows in full. And his "known in part" was so much richer than most!
He actually said something that was TRUE.
He said WE DONT KNOW HOW IT WORKS.
Of course not, when you spend your life SPOUTING BULLSHIT OF COURSE YOU ARE PROVING THAT IT IS ALL A FAIRY TALE.

This made me cry tears of joy!!! All we have longed for all along is just to see the GLORY of the creators face!!
Thats what will flood all our empty spaces...fully illuminate our deep darkly places. It'll rid all those things that haunt us....all the things that plague and taunt us.

God wants us to wrestle with Him. He wants us to actively engage with Him. He wants to be an overcomer. God could have wretched the socket of Jacob’s bip at any time. He was allowing Jacob to wrestle with Him so He could know there is no bounds to the love God has for Jacob and his family. The same is true for us who are born again. It is a truly wonderful gift we have received.lers wrestle with Gid every day and receive the blessing He wants to give us.
I see the event where Jacob wrestled with God as a testament to God’s mercy in that rather than just touching his hip causing it to come out of place He could have pulverized him with the same touch of His hand. I believe the event was included in scripture to demonstrate that it is ok to wrestle with God and that’s part of the relationship we have with Him. I don’t think it’s wrong to question God (in a respectful manner) and I’ve had many struggles with a myriad of “WHYs!” that I desperately wanted answers to. One in particular that plagued me for a long time was the question: Why did you just hand over this world to satan? It bothered me so much that I would get very depressed over it. I suppose I know the theological answer which is to allow us the freedom to choose the kingdom we wish to be citizens of but even if satan wasn’t given the ultimate authority of being the ruler of this world, we still would have the choice of which master we wished to serve. The obvious point of this question is the centuries old riddle as to why bad things happen to good people but for me it goes beyond that because rather than allow and ordain such a thing, in the deepest recesses of my heart I want him to be brought to justice rather than to receive a promotion! I still don’t know the answer and it still bothers me because of the havoc he has been gleefully inflicting on me in the course of my life primarily my lifelong battle with depression and the ever consuming emptiness of loneliness that I’ve always felt. It caused me to think in an angry way truth be told: “hello?!! Is there anybody up there? Are you just going to let him get away with everything he is doing like completely corrupting our race as he did before the flood? Like the martyrs of the faith in Revelations who cried out “how long must we wait to be avenged?!!” I share the same sentiment. I’m not quite as disturbed by this as I once was and now most frequently asked prayer is that I would “be in that number” on a white horse” directly behind the Lord so that I could witness satan and his cohorts being thrown into the lake of fire! I believe the answer to the question “when?!!” which the Lord lovingly consoled the martyrs with is simply
“just a little while longer” and that’s good enough for me.

If you don’t understand, you missed the point. Only through the Holy Spirit can the Gospel of Jesus Christ be understood. People don’t just get saved by believing in Jesus. Satan and demons believe in Jesus, they know without a shadow of a doubt who He is, but reject Him, because they prefer darkness to the Light, Jesus being that Light.
John 3:19-20
“And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and will not come into the Light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.”
All throughout the Bible, from beginning to end, there are many things pointing to Jesus, this being an early sign, as with Jacob, our soul wrestles for salvation against the flesh. The flesh wants what it wants, but our spirit knows where it came from, and who is the true God and way to salvation, once our soul realizes this Truth, there is an inner struggle between our spirit and our soul, longing for eternal salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who was crucified for our sins, died and resurrected on the third day. Our spirit then starts working against the desires of the flesh.
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

First, the angel asked Jacob what was his name and he had to admit that he was a deceiver before his name got changed to Israel and then he received the blessing. We must all wrestle with our sin and admit it before God before we receive any blessing from Him.
