Now all you need is Stars and Stripes forever playing in the background and a powermaster on one of the loops so you can run the spirit of 76 set. Lionel does have a great tutorial on RUclips for installing the powermaster into a pre existing layout, would recommend watching it.

Hi Eric. Happy 4th. Just a note for you, the NW 1776 was a duel control SD-45 and had a bulletin issued that stated "while running it with the red-white-and blue paint it was to be run short hood lead whenever practicable". Even though it had the F on the long hood I never saw it run that way and I don't think I have ever seen a photo of it running long hood forward in red-white-blue paint. (I was an N&W engineer) You ask... "what could be better?" Turn that dude around! 🙂 I have been looking for one of these models for quite a while. It was the first locomotive I ever ran. (although it was black then) If I find one the first thing I will do is turn the engineer and fireman around to face the short hood!
Eric, this may seem like a crazy idea, but what if you did the same thing like RBP, and ran your *ENTIRE COLLECTION* of model trains on your layout in one whole video!
How much power do you have connected to the track with the 3 Big Boys? Can you run the smoke without popping a breaker? Thanks for any kind response. Happy 4th of July!
lol, but one set that is made in the USA, the spirit of 76 set, and I’ll probably try to convince my dad to let me run it. It took him a few months to find all the cars, but he did get them for a good deal, even the Virginia car which is supposed to be the most expensive one

Problem is that the guys in the cab are facing toward the long hood lol.
