Love to listen to Alex play. Aside from the awesome lines, his tone is always impeccable. Tune has elements of funk, fusion and rock thrown in. Rhythm section is top notch. Keyboardist seems to have a chart in front of him. If this is a club gig, it is good see that people will actually come out to hear this type of sound. Finally, props to whoever recorded this. Nice mix all around.

The piece feels a little short maybe another section could be added? I like that synth sound you got it was like Funkadelic, very good sound Have you ever played Funkadelic's Maggiot Brain? That has that great soulful guitar solo on it. I could imagine you playing that, updating it. Of course that is more of a ballad though, not funky. Maybe there could could be a version extended into a funk rhythm with a drum beat coming in, update it This was a good one: Buckethead with Claypool Bernie Worrell and Brain

Thanks so much man.... It was actually a rather complex set up but I'll try to explain it in brief. The main tone was coming from a Laney Ironheart SLS running through a Boss GT 1000 which was doing channel change via a mini control box. And for this particular gig I ended up going into the fender twin as well. Normally it would be less complex but as we were travelling around Russia I was having to be flexible with the set up.
