Genestealers have been barely disguised fetishized bait from day one. Xenomorphs face bug you and chest burst new forms. Genestealrs don’t do that. They hypnotize you, mind control you, use an ovipositor to under their DNA into your body, making any of your offspring alien hybrids, while also compelling you to have as much sex as possible. I don’t know how many r34 sites you visit, but that’s too many tags for me to get into.
My cult sprung up from an experimental strain of genestealers that were designed by Hive Fleet Tiamet. By quirk of fate, a smaller tyranid force (designated Hive Fleet Acheron) descended upon the infected population of Aether-7b, a verdant mining colony in a hollowed-out moon. Instead of welcoming their tyranid Star Gods with open arms, as is usual for a successful cult; the Sons of Aether didn't see an emperor with four arms descending from the heavens. They literally expect a human emperor who just has 4 arms. Instead, they saw murderous space bugs and defended their colony like a kicked hornet's nest. Even direct confrontations with actual Hive Fleet Acheron genestealers didn't convince the cult. They were eventually successful in ridding the colony of Hive Fleet Acheron without being completely exterminated. The Sons of Aether are rebuilding while meeting imperial quotas for tithes of rare ores. They are a weird quirk of the grimdark horrors.
I love the idea of a Genestealer cult either too early into their cycle to have any hybrids or too loyal to their own infectors to help literally any other hive fleet or your idea The idea of Genestealer Cuots VS ‘Nids hasn’t appeared anywhere yet that I’m aware
Excellent timing, what with the major update to the Tyranid army list. All manners of classic and derpy models got updated, even though some (the Gaunts, Lictor) look better than others (the 'Vores), and that one special weapon on the Termagants you can't show on youtube without getting demonetized.
HP Lovecraft wasn’t afraid of air conditioning, he thought it was cool (pun intended) so he wrote a story involving a dude who will die if his apartment gets below a certain temperature. It literally portrays air conditioning as a life saver.

The GSC do not have a Genestealer unit. Instead they have Purestrain Genestealer and Tyranids are the ones with Genestealers
