I love those FLDs, I never forget when I drove one. Easy to drive, good view and you can hear the engine. Today I am driving a KW 680 and those “toys” drive me crazy. Well, trucking is not like before. Tesla? Come on …..
Wow I just realize that I drive by your shop pretty often, I live and work in barre mass, fleet mechanic for a heating oil and propane company. nice work!
That's an old Jevic Transportation truck out of Delanco NJ - I remember when they came in - had them programmed the more you idle them, the slower they ran - guys would sleep in the break rooms not to idle at night
Who doesn't miss Harry, and the whole Muhlschleger Family? Me, The Flying Mustache was there 1991 to 1994. $4K to $6K a week, and Harry knew every driver's name.
Depends. Evan has been using the Renegade rouge and compounds as of lately, however we’re big fans of “Speedy Metal Polish”. We’ve had great luck using that with a wool buffing pad on a high speed polisher, and usually hand polish it after with “Mojo Metal Polish and Sealant” from RoadWorks. You don’t need a bunch of fancy polishing discs and compounds to be able to keep your aluminum looking sharp!

the FLD has a timeless design it looks like a 2023 truck that was built in the 90's might be they are getting popular again.
