I leveled the nuts on the base but with pole attached the pole leans very slightly away from the court. Within the level lines but not perfect. Can level be adjusted after the backboard is on?
Not sure if you got this answered but yes it can. This is assuming you left a little room (like 1/8") between the nut below the pole and the plate anchored to the concrete.
I just bought a goal and installing the goal in a couple days. We have the basketball court already poured and now have to pour for the goal. It’s says to leave a gap from the concrete of the court to the concrete of the basketball goal to limit vibration. I noticed yours is connected and is what I think looks best but do you notice any vibration by doing that? Thanks
Getting ready to pull the trigger on the mega. I was curious on why the mega slam is not considered a top basketball goal? Not sure if you noticed that or not. When googling top basketball goals the mega slam is never in the list of top goals. Did you notice that when doing your research? Thanks
Thank you for your video!! Great tips and tricks here. We used furniture dolleys and the ladder trick to hold the backboard. Got it installed this weekend. Certainly saved our backs. Kids are loving their Megaslam hoop
I want to say thank you for your video. I came across it to learn about the entire delivery to installation process with MegaSlam. I just got mine installed today and your video really helped explain a lot of details. Thank you!
Out of all the installation video I have seen, your was the best. Very good details and nice trick with the ladder for installing the backboard. I was scratching my head trying to figure how to do mine :)
Great video! We are pouring our concrete soon. Was looking at the mega slam or goalrilla. How is your holding up? I like the fact you can lower it more than the goalrilla
Hey, how much play is there in the pole when you mount it onto the anchor system? Just in case the anchor corners aren’t exactly the same distance from the pad?
Apparently all these comments have been held by RUclips. Apologies for not getting back to you all sooner.

KC, no vibration but didn't realize this was mentioned.
On the cuts they made on the court. Did they put expansion joints in the cuts?
no expansion joints. that's not a bad idea tho but it does have a gradual angle where all the water flows into the drain ditch
Can the rim be adjusted above 10’ at all in case the base is set a few inches lower than the playing area?
yes it can a few inches above
Thanks!

How is the hoop holding up now after 3 years? Follow up video??
Good idea. An update to the sports court series. It looks completely different now. The hoop is solid after 3 years.
@@CaliBoud would love to see an updated video or pics for inspiration.
At what stage can you let it rest on the ladder?
The backboard was super heavy. When all your bolts and nuts are ready to go.

I thought this was the 60inch, looks like 72.
I know it is Mega huge even for a 60." My neighbor outshined me and got a 72." But it no longer became a DIY project at that size and weight.

Good Dad! I'm pouring my concrete today for our 16x30 court. My two boys will be helping as well! Thanks for the video. How you liking the Mega Slam?
Best investment ever. We did this pre-COVID. So we had plenty of time outside with our immediate family.

It was a top 3 from my research. I can attest to its quality. Not sure of the other brands.

Another back saved! Awesome.

If there is dunking, get Megaslam, it's very solid. If not, goarilla is a budget friendly option.
How much did all this cost?
$$-$$$
Hey, how much play is there in the pole when you mount it onto the anchor system? Just in case the anchor corners aren’t exactly the same distance from the pad?
not much, ours was really tight a few mm
What was the total cost?
$$-$$$ reasonable though. Save $$$$ in long term health problems is the way I was justifying the cost.
AMAZING!✝️🙏❤
Thanks
