You're a good athlete and dad! Thanks for posting. I have a wood deck and I'm thinking about installing that flooring. In the video, the sound of the basketball sounds loud against the plastic tile. The way my house is situated, I am surrounded by 5 houses, so the acoustics are terrible. I can hear anyone talking and they can hear me, so I'm afraid it may be too loud. Can you give me feedback on the sound level? Also, how is the rebounding of the tiles? Does the ball bounce of it well or does it soften the bounce? Thanks and good luck to all your kids with their sports.
I am not sure it is louder. The other half of the backyard is concrete. When I shoot thr curry 3s and bounce on concrete it does sound loud too. So any Bounce in your case could be loud. Ball bounces well. No difference other than your knees thank u in the morning.
How much was the total cost for, concrete, basketball hoop, and the flex court. and the size of the court i think you said was 54 x 28 correct? If you dont mind, could you please give an appro value. again of the concrete, basketball hoop and flex court only.
Biggest cost was concrete. Appx $7/sq ft concrete and the pricing for the court is 6.5k with additional cost for custom lettering and goal pricing listed on the links at 1.5k.
Watched your whole series on this build and I pulled the trigger. I got a 30x30 being built. After the last couple months home my son and I can't wait to work on his game in the backyard. Got the MegaSlam 60 the other day and hope to break ground in a week or so. Thank you for the inspiration. Has the color faded any? Is there any solution if it does? Also does it feel any hotter because of all the concrete in the backyard?
Kudos for pulling the trigger. They gave us so much extra tiles. We lined our garage with it. Color still looks amazing. 16 year guarantee so you should be good. The 60" is manageable. We planted over 100 trees for shade.
No difference. Someone ask me about sound, did some test. It is less quiet compared concrete. Likely due to less surface area colliding bc of the holes in the tiles.
Thanks for all 6 videos and I plan to do a pool, court and pergola at the same time. Can you describe the construction coordination for the pool and sportcourt. Were they done by same company or are different companies needed, and what are the coordination steps between the pool and court?
Our pool company contracted with a concrete company. We set a seperate cash only deal with the same concrete company to do the sports court. They pour entire concrete in 1 day. There were 3-4 trucks. My kiddos and I also started on a pergola. The smoke in CA is delaying completion.
How is the net holding up? Does it withstand use for practicing hard passes? This would be so ideal. Especially if the net could pass the ball back to you for a shot.
It's been over a year and still good. Would have been better if adult men didn't pull down on the net. Wife and I still go hard on using it to play half court tennis. Kids using it for baseball pitches, soccer rebounder and pickleball rebounder.
Thank you for the great video. I want to build a Flex Court Rebounder, same as the one in your video. Could you please share with me where did you buy all materials, such as posts, joints and net? Thanks again!
I am working on a similar court, I have a huge back yard like yours however, I don't want to mess with my irrigation system or have to spend to get that in order, Putting up a play set and pergola on one side. Then Already got a 15 by 12 concrete poured for a mini court. I am looking at a 60inch hoop system (don't to comprise too much on quality and size) & light and getting a flexi court. This will for me and my 2 boys (4 & 2). Any suggestions ? How do you like the mega slam, is it worth the investment ? Thanks
Glad we got this done before covid-19. We are out back tons now. Won't go wrong with mega slam, its quality thru and thru. Kids do all sort of sports on flex ct all safe in their backyard.

Quick question- was your court built level to the ground or is it slightly elevated above ground level- like 3" above?
Above ground 3-5 inch sloping towards drain
How do u prevent ur floor from sliding off concrete? Do u have anchors ?
The hearth wooden frame is screwed into the stud. The hearth floor then does not give
Great video! Im curious about how the ball bounces. Is it different?
No difference. Someone ask me about sound, did some test. It is less quiet compared concrete. Likely due to less surface area colliding bc of the holes in the tiles.
What’s the size of the court great set up Ioved it
We added 4 gray tiles to all sides making it now 28 x 56
Wow that’s nice waiting on appraisal for cement doing 30-30 Awesome yard you have
Yeah that's perfect for a pick up game. Best thing you can do for your health.

All the info and link are in the description. We used Flex Court and their rebounder.

How much was the rebounder? Their website forces me to get a quote (I hate it when companies do that)
Awesome court by the way!
Thanks! $850 in 2018, not sure if prices went up due to tariffs.
Thanks for sharing a awesome video.
Thx
How much did the rebounder cost?
Sorry this was 2018 $750. Not sure now but link in description.
@@CaliBoud thank you so much
How this court act if its there whole year after year? What about temperatures high and lows?
Still pretty solid. This has helped our family during covid. We play sports then swim.
How is the ball bounce on that flex court? Does it make a strange sound on the bounce?
It's a different sound. If you're a baller, it makes no difference.
Great Video. Thanks!
Thx
What is the price
Its priceless
How much did it cost ?
For the same sq ft, it was $4k less than versa Court and sports court. Around $6k
WOW
thanks
